  • The quests for The Lord's Alliance are in Icespire Peak, but you have to go back to Protector's Enclave and talk to the Harpers to unlock the quest block first.
  • Perhaps from a PvP perspective, but in PvE (which is pretty much all I play) there is no "win", per se. Even still, since everything related to stats, abilities, gear, etc. can all be obtained from grinding, the game isn't really P2W in any respect. If anything, it's pay to hurry.
  • Well, then it's a good thing NW isn't a P2W game.
  • No, we won't pay more than 2:1 AD per refining point on Xbox either. The sale is a nice nod, but I'll continue to farm refining stones and unicorn/drake seals. Slow and steady (and free) wins the race.
  • It's also one of the game's economic sinks meant to control inflation (or Mudflation, as it's often called). Whenever you provide mechanisms to generate currency, you also need a way to get currency out of the world to maintain economic stability. This is especially true when you keep adding new items/expansions that…
  • You probably won't see them in the Wondrous Bazaar since they are a Zen store item.
  • I don't think it's a problem. The person (or people) running the class an item drops for should have first shot. It's fair because what goes around comes around. Items don't always drop for one class. Sometimes the loot is for you, sometimes it isn't. It's RNG all the way. What I think is greedy is other people wanting to…
  • If you look at the description of each dungeon in the Queue window, you'll see which armor pieces drop from which dungeon. If it says it drops armor, then you have a shot at getting your set pieces from the chest at the end (or as a random drop as well). It's not a guaranteed drop though. You might have to run it multiple…
  • The loot mechanic is perfectly fine. I need on everything I can, greed on stuff I want but can't need on, and pass on stuff I don't want... which is completely fair. If the RNG decides to drop something for a specific class, that class should definitely have first shot at it. Don't worry though, once they implement…
  • There is a bug in the bank interface for trading gold between characters. You currently have two options: 1. buy whatever you were going to spend the gold on and share the purchased items(s) with your other character(s) via the shared bank; or 2. connect a USB keyboard to your Xbox One and use it to enter the amount of…
  • No, not yet. I think they increased the max levels for enchantments with Elemental Evil (often referred to as Mod 6) on PC, but we won't get that until later this year.
  • YES!! I'm on the right track. I'm remain mediocre at PvP forever!
  • The medals will occasionally drop in combat, but it's pretty rare in my experience. You get one medal for turning in six defense supplies or two for twelve. (Use your alts to make defense supplies and it goes much faster... and your alts only have to be high enough level to do professions to make them.) Alternatively, you…
  • You have valid concerns, and I can't really address your other points, but I can tell you the game is definitely on dedicated servers.
  • Yeah, there's that too.
  • I guess I'm lucky (or a lot closer to the server farm) because I haven't experienced much lag at all. Then again, I don't get much lag during dragon fights either. I get the occasional lag spike or disconnect while zoning that everyone gets, but it's very rare for my frame rate drop. For the most part, my game either lags…
  • The problem isn't rogues. The problem is your incorrect assumption that all the classes are (or should be) identical in every way. They're not, and they shouldn't ever be; each class in NW is intentionally different. This isn't CoD or BF where each player plays the exact same guy and only the weapon types change. PvP in NW…
  • Yeah, I hope the VTK fix is more comprehensive than what's been done on the PC side. We need something that actually deters kicking -- something that makes it risky or costly to kick indiscriminately -- in order to effectively combat the #1 problem with NW for Xbox One.
  • Unfortunately, no. I was serious about it... but I haven't had much time to play the last couple days. Sinibyte, send me a PM if you're still interested and let's set something up.
  • Not at all. I mean, you wouldn't have to duel them. If anything, open world duels would give the TR haters what they want -- PvP without the possibility of facing TRs.
  • I usually quit the game (go to Xbox One dashboard, hit start/menu with the game selected, choose quit) when that starts happening. It seems to clear it up for a while. Could be coincidence though...
  • Power without armor penetration is power wasted. The first stat to stack in the current mod is always armor penetration until you hit 24% resistance ignored. Failing to do so results in a significant damage debuff when running end game content.
  • It's always the same dragon in each area, but each area has multiple instances it might spawn in. So, if you're in Neverdeath and see "#27 up" in Zone Chat, that means Charthraxis has arrived in instance #27 and you can fight him if you join that instance. The different dragons and their locations can be found here (look…
  • Honestly, I'd run them for fun, but a nice level 60 bonus could be something like the Greater Scroll of Identification and an enchantment that normally drop in the eSoT chests. None of the campaign loot, obviously... just a little something.
  • Yeah, it does seem to happen to me most often after Soulforged procs while my stamina is draining or when it's depleted.
  • It's not uncommon for press releases to be released to the press ahead of announcements. It probably was supposed to be a uniform release and a few in the press jumped the gun. It also could've been a leak...
  • They are fun though. They're worth doing if you enjoy running them. I wish they had epic versions of all the skirmishes like they do the dungeons.
  • Hmmm... I get them all the time while out farming for refining stones. I got a 20% off companions last night and a 20% of mounts a couple days ago. Some of my guildies have been getting them too.
  • A warlock will never out buff/debuff anyone. Unless you count life steal boosts, the class doesn't have those kinds of abilities. They can heal more than DCs though. I know because I've done it.
