Open PVP and Duels

1) Personally i think this game would be more realistic if it were possible to initiate a 1 on 1 duel in open world areas.
2) Maybe even add certain areas to each Zone where PVP is allowed.
3) What if we made it so the person who initiates a VTK is forced into a 1 on 1 pvp with the person they want to kick!... Winner gets to stay! lol. What do you guys think of these ideas?

    Duels would be nice, although TR's would make it somewhat pointless.

    Not at all. I mean, you wouldn't have to duel them. If anything, open world duels would give the TR haters what they want -- PvP without the possibility of facing TRs.

    Good point. I was thinking more along the lines of them claiming how great they are at duels because they killed you 1v1 while either remaining invisible or 1 shotting you from stealth.

    Sure, as long as...
    1. Duel Invitations can be COMPLETELY disabled/ignored in UI options.
    2. Duels take place NO closer than 500' from ANY NPC or quest objective.
    3. ABSOLUTELY NOT IN Protectors Enclave.

    There is nothing worse than be spam-invited to duel and/or watch a couple of idiots bounce around throwing effects all over the place when your trying to get mail, or use a merchant.

    You want to duel? Go to IWD and pick opposite sides and go find a nice quiet part of the large PvP areas.
