I think that I might go try to find some good janeway/seven shipping fiction. That would be cool. And yes, it is relationshipping, and I don't think that the player base does it much with this game. :(
It would only work as part of a TOS set. Most likely the Rifle, the Phaser, and somekind of item you had to equip. Might work as one of the "lesser" sets, like the Dominion one.
Could this also be a time event? So that its the start, then middle, then end of the dominion wars? Kind of like a play along mission tree, where you are the commander, and it has other players, but also famous NPC's in there with it? I mean, who doesn't want to see Sisko charging in with the defiant, or the massive space…

This is probably not original, but.... I play with a ferengi that his story is that he works for star fleet as a mercinary. This allows him to have any ship, as star fleet pays him this way, and use their stuff, with out compromising the characters story. I dress my BOffs in such a way that they too look like mercs.…
