Is there anything for people who have been away a LONG time?

I've played sporadically over the last couple of years, but nothing serious, only soloable missions. Has anyone by chance posted a guide on the big changes since launch, or at least since F2P? Things like what ships are good, what builds...and most importantly how to go about building up good gear?

I can do at level solo missions, but other than that I'm sure my stuff is all amazingly mediocre at best.

Thanks, but that isn't exactly what I'm looking for. It's good info, but I'm more looking for what route I should be taking for getting better gear. What STFs, what difficulty...that kind of thing.
