I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have had a problem, considering they were paying him. He's a grown man, so I imagine he understands there's much worse things you could be asked to do for money. Also, he's the only voice actor that didn't phone their performance in. He managed to keep Neelix appropriately annoying.
My Vesta has been turning like a dream. It's been a while since I played STO, but I don't remember it turning THIS well, despite being good before. My Mirror Nova was pretty sluggish though. Maybe only certain (aka paid for) ship have had a slight turn buff?
I don't think it's bad if you have the disposable income. You work for that money, so spending it on things that make you happy is kind of healthy. As long as you don't start spending your kids education fund on new ships, I think you're doing fine :D (I just realised that I sound like a planted Cryptic shill)
Romulan Rep missions are just so awful. The game doesn't exactly have amazing mission design in general, but all of the missions on the planet are just so boring and repetitive. I haven't tried the space bunny farming doff missions, but it sounds like that might be my only source of Romulan Marks from now on (the Romulan…
I feel like anything over 200 is getting a bit much, and is when converting dil to zen doesn't really become worth it. A 500/1 exchange rate means only 16 zen per day is possible per character, meaning it will take absurdly long to buy anything of worth. This will mean people will be pushed to find more profitable uses for…
The only really bad thing for me, is that the Undine space zone is always REALLY laggy. Also today, there was hardly anyone online. The space zone was empty, and channels I have were dead.
I tend to drop my graphics to almost minimum graphics when I enter the Dyson sphere. Also, make sure you turn off the "soft particles" option. It really helps performance, and doesn't really effect visuals that much.
It will need to be science oriented, to complete a sort of trio between the classes. Some sort of ship meant for "Solar gazing" or something? Give it a shiny bronze paint job or something (similar to the solar sail ships in the thread).
I'm glad I'm not the only one who really likes the Tholians. They're some of my favourite Star Trek things in one package: -Time Travel -Alternate realities -No humanoid aliens that are far and few between (Star Trek series need to invest in animatronics like Farscape did) One of the best FEs is related to Tholians, so it…
It'd be nice. It would help my ship actually feel unique. Another ship customization option I'd like to see is the ability to change uniforms of my crew.
I've been using phasers a little bit (trying to get used to them before I join in on anything), and they're so much fun compared to Dual Heavy cannons. Broadsiding looks badass too. I think I might jump in on something today!
Are you trying to say see a space battle while on the bridge of a ship? Sadly that would take a LOT of work for the developers, with little reward. :D:D:D:D
I agree that Sulu would be the best Starfleet candidate. He'd need to be brought into a story mission though(for those who join the game after he disappears to know who he is). It'd be cool if he got his own ship or something just before getting assimilated. But alas, the Borg should be done with by now. I really am kind…
Nakura marks are pretty hard to get a hold of too. There's never anyone doing the STFs for them. Does this take long? I do love the idea of that though. Romulan marks are the worst to try and get. I REALLY dislike Romulan missions. They're so repetitive.
I wonder if the game will start concentrating on Enterprise soon. We've had TOS related stories (The time travel storyline may be my favourite episode of STO tbh. kind of sad we'll never get a game with those aesthetics), TNG related stories, DS9 and the past few episodes have been Voyager related. I didn't hate Enterprise…
