Captains Quarters - Kit Display

arcangelslayarcangelslay Member Posts: 0 Arc User
I've always wanted to be able to see gear that I no longer used but have earned displayed somewhere in game.

I saw the fleet Starbase and the uniform display and got thinking. It would be nice to have somewhere on your ship, as this technically doubles as your base of operations, to store items on display.

Things I would like to see would be a weapons cabinet with a display of items I placed in there. So that it would only allow say five items in a glass style case. Perhaps I could store rare or hard to obtain weapons as trophy's. I'm fed up of leaving them in my bank.

The same could go for a number of items but only rare armour (costume unlocks or EV suits on display) or weapons was what I would like to see.

Any thoughts?

This would represent an excelent Quality of Life improvement and I support it. On another note, would it be nice to have a model of a character's first command in his/her ready room (reading this thread inspired me)?

This reminds me of the player houses form star wars galaxies. I basically used mine as an over-sized trophy room.
It's not my fault if you feel trolled by my Disco ball... Sorry'boutit.

I would rather that Romulan Interiors actually get trophy functionality period, which they have been lacking since LoR was released. :P

I agree. The Captain's Quarters are useless. Nothing to do there. Maybe invite bridge officers or something.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for new ship interior features any time soon, considering an ever-increasing number of ships don't even have interiors.
You're right. The work here is very important.

It'd be nice. It would help my ship actually feel unique.
Another ship customization option I'd like to see is the ability to change uniforms of my crew.

This is why Cryptic needs to modify the Foundry System so we can create our own ship interiors.

I think some form of foundry to allow people to create spaces like the captains quarters, would be a good idea!

I think a long look at ship interiors is needed overall, they've had nothing for a very long time.

Let them allow the unusual (that are getting more and more common) ships to actually have a ready room and something other than the bridge, first.
Then, we can discuss about being able to change it.

The lower decks are good for something. Invite your friends on their opposing faction toons to visit your engineering deck and speak to the transporter officer.

The sit back and watch the NPC go crazy and attack them.
Everywhere I look, people are screaming about how bad Cryptic is.
    What's my position?
That people should know what they're screaming about!

    Housing!

Even the golden trophies on a standard bridge are weirdly limited. I tried to make a timeline of my ships up to admiral promotion, but most of the ones in the middle were missing.
