About the Elite Obelisk Swarmers

I made this post on the General Discussion threads but I feel that I should put it here and in the Fleet Systems and Holdings threads to as I am not sure where it belongs.

Ive been wanting to get these pets for a long time. But before I ever buy them I need to know....can they be equipped on anything that supports Carrier Craft? Cause I want to use them on my Vesta and the tooltips do not state that they can only be equipped to specific carriers, the tooltip just says "Any flight deck cruiser or carrier" just like what the Scorpion fighter tooltip says and I can put the scorpions on my Vesta. So can anyone help me confirm weither I can put these swarmers on my Vesta please?

    The Vesta is a carrier... my tac Vesta carriers the Elite Obelisk Swarmers from the rep system. :D

    I have a Vesta, are they a good pet to have? Any better than Danube Runabouts?

    The Elite Swarmers from the spire can be equipped on anything with a hanger slot. They're a fairly high dps pet, often equaling or surpassing Scorpions depending on the targets in question. Swarmers hit things with shields harder, Scorpions hit heavily armored shieldless targets harder (Borg Gateways for example).

    As for Swarmers vs Runabouts - you can't really compare them. Swarmers are low survivability, fast recharge dps pets. Runabouts are high survivability, medium recharge, harasser pets. Swarmers are pure damage while Runabouts only do low to fair damage, limit enemy maneuverability with tractor beams and warp plasma (yellowstones).
