The newly buffed zones like WoD are ridiculously difficult even for the CW. 28 pages of nerf CWs is dumb, why do this every mod. The new zones need to be toned down AND some classes need to be balanced up (buffed) to be more in line with CW, DC, TR and possibly the HR.
Cryptic has essentially eliminated everything pre 70. The gear at 70 has no set bonuses and is just a jumble of stats. Going to be difficult to focus on any particular stats.
SoD still not working with anything but encounters. Also several encounters dont trigger SoD like smoke bomb and path of blades. So the feat paths are down to one for the TR.
IMO the real reason they removed all armor set bonuses and all old armor sets is they dont have the time to go back and add pally gear, so they just eliminated all of it. The guard meter being consumed faster on preview than on live seems to be a problem every mod. Usually they fix this some time after launch and tons of complaining. Also, the pvp set bonus is being removed so the large bonus to guard meter is gone. So between these 2 things its a large nerf to guard duration.
Either CC time is messed up or the fact they have lvl 73 mobs in lvl 70 areas is making CC almost useless. Side note: i thought the mobs 3 lvls higher than the zone were "Boss" mobs. Why is this the new trash mob?

The big difference that I see is the way you get gear now. Several mods have some type of quest or big end game baddie that needed killing then the components put together for your BiS weapons or armor sets. The elemental set is lvl 70 so maybe when/if current set gets leveled to 70 it will be exactly the same. The weapon and threat boost is nice. It always concerns me tho when they say it may necessitate nerfs to powers and feats. The devs seem to have a heavy hand. Dont want to end up with pally damage.

Sounds like they will be removing BI resistance and adding a bunch of HPs. And upgrading will put you a half notch below the best armor you can get at 70.
A quick comment on pallys In preview you have several classes that can now hit for 100k+ with an encounter. 50k+ with AE encounters. What does the pally hit for? 5k maybe? They are going to have to change things around for pally because right now there is no reason to play one over a GF or DC. Other than its new. (ish) Kinda hard to call anything in this expansion "new".
It sounds like the problem may not be with the spell or encounter, but, the scaling. The min damage on disintegrate for me is 35k in the description and I have never hit for that much, so something is obviously wrong. If other classes are seeing the same type of effect in different zones then it must be the scaling.
My weapon is 1200ish also. Like to see a screenshot of a 3500 one. I tested disintegrate also and was getting 5k to 9k from tier4. So idk what to say maybe its bugged.
Two things that I think would greatly improve the pally. The lunging strike encounter needs to be much earlier, maybe lvl20. Pallys need some ability to engage ranged targets and lvl65 is too late. Also needs a bit quicker refresh 10sec or so. Sanctuary - could do some damage. The healer would do 100dps and the tank does…
