No, not at all. RNG absolutely hates my guts. And having it be some gamble makes me pretty meh about the whole thing. Then again, it also won't affect my usual playstyle. So no harm done.

There should always be a penalty for ditching a match, otherwise people would just re-queue constantly until they got the perfect winning team. They'll drop in value even more with Mod 6. Currently a purple companion is the "best" you can get. But once the mod goes live and orange companions are the best you can get, the packs don't even offer that anymore.

Pretty much. I did it with an 11k DC a few days ago. All in all it was pretty easy, though the last boss did take a while to go down.

You can also get them as a random world drop every now and then. I bought a key for 75 Zen the other day with one of those coupons.

Something like that would be nice indeed. It's not just Neverwinter that's guilty of doing this though. Some other MMOs also have character creators where your character looks much different in them compared to in-game (Aion was one of them).

Aha! I always suspected this, but I was always too lazy to care. It's why sometimes I wait with invoking and collecting my Leadership rewards until I've got the right comp out. (Though it's usually limited to my lowbies doing this. Switching companions and all their gear is such a PITA at max level)

It's probably a combination of all the SFX, number of players and the constantly spawning and swarming mobs that's causing it. Other MMOs have had similar problems when implementing large and complex encounters aimed at very large crowds. My guess is that we won't see an end to this any time soon. Mind you, I'm not getting…
