Yeah, I saw that second one while looking at the invocation reward list. And that's great! Those expiring coins have given me more burnout than anything else. Each time I didn't feel like playing the game I had to keep forcing myself to go invoke on all my alts so the coins didn't get lost. And then when I finally missed a…
I hope you and the Sprite are right, since that would mean things will improve in a while. It could be just Mod 6, since I don't think there's an exploit going around to create an overabundance of AD to drain the ZAX. I'm personally on a break from the game as well. Although I never sell Zen, so technically my absence is…
Some World of Warcraft RMTs got arrested over in China a while ago, so it does happen. It's just very, very rare. http://www.sk-gaming.com/forum/15-World_of_Warcraft/1144232-WoW_Gold_Farmers_Arrested http://www.ign.com/boards/threads/wow-gold-farmers-arrested.163609722/ There was a more recent case too, but my Search-Fu is…
Many of Neverwinter's mechanics are. Which is a shame considering DnD has always been about cooperation and fun. Hopefully they'll get around to adding that setting that enforces Greed runs (or Need runs). It's a shame when a game's mechanics promote hostile and greedy behavior between its player base. And it makes me miss…
^I'm with Ironzerg there. I'd actually hate getting a double xp weekend with the new class. It'd make me hold off on actually playing it, because Neverwinter's XP is already too fast for me at times. I'd say something about an option to pause xp gain, but we all know it would be horribly exploited in PvP, so that'll never…
Also, another question. It says the timer starts running at 12.00 AM PST each day. Does that include today? Since the event wasn't even "live" yet at that point? I already blew most of my AD before the downtime, and my day's already over. (Stupid time zones) If it actually counted already before the downtime, I can still…
No, not at all. RNG absolutely hates my guts. And having it be some gamble makes me pretty meh about the whole thing. Then again, it also won't affect my usual playstyle. So no harm done.
I buy keys every now and then for fun. (Usually with AD, rather than Zen, or a combination of the two) I've never gotten anything really spectacular out of the boxes, but I generally break even when it comes to value. One of the advantages to lockboxes is that sometimes you can also get campaign stuff out of them, which…
There should always be a penalty for ditching a match, otherwise people would just re-queue constantly until they got the perfect winning team. Something I've seen on MMOs that didn't (initially) have a leaver's penalty. That being said, I learned early on not to bother with Neverwinter's PvP. It's always been grossly…
They'll drop in value even more with Mod 6. Currently a purple companion is the "best" you can get. But once the mod goes live and orange companions are the best you can get, the packs don't even offer that anymore.
Something like that would be nice indeed. It's not just Neverwinter that's guilty of doing this though. Some other MMOs also have character creators where your character looks much different in them compared to in-game (Aion was one of them).
Aha! I always suspected this, but I was always too lazy to care. It's why sometimes I wait with invoking and collecting my Leadership rewards until I've got the right comp out. (Though it's usually limited to my lowbies doing this. Switching companions and all their gear is such a PITA at max level)
It's probably a combination of all the SFX, number of players and the constantly spawning and swarming mobs that's causing it. Other MMOs have had similar problems when implementing large and complex encounters aimed at very large crowds. My guess is that we won't see an end to this any time soon. Mind you, I'm not getting…
I'm currently pretty vexed about how different the characters look in the creator vs in-game. I made a Moon Elven CW a while back, and picked black/black for his hair color options. And the moment I get in game my character looks like he emptied a pot of gel onto his head and his hair is more shiny gray than anything…
