So, any rumors/ideas what most of the Cryptic developers have been reassigned to develop?

"Cryptic Studios is working on at least one top secret project.

We're very excited about what we're working on. Like Neverwinter, our Top Secret work represents our continued commitment to diversify and reach beyond the boundaries of traditional MMORPG gaming. We can't wait to show you "

I heard a rumor that everything is going to be fine.

How can we be sure? Let's just say I operate in the right circles ;D

    Context?

Fine for Neverwinter? Fine for Cryptic's "new project?" Fine for Cryptic? Fine for PWE?

I think you missed a dot there?
...and if that is the case, then PWE would be competing almost directly against NWO.
So that would tend to shift "fine" directly away from Cryptic/NWO, and toward PWE/possible-new-company-acquisitition-g.w.

You're a bit late, pal. Andy Velasquez himself, right after NW launch... has stated that they already started working on another 'project' which he did refer to as, 'top secret' in one of his video Q&A thingies.

Yeah...is there a game company out there that isn't always working on something "top secret"?

True. But I believe the massive shift in developers off Neverwinter onto it is much more recent.

You have any evidence to support your claim or just blowing smoke?
    A world to defend
    A city to protect
    innocents to save
"Why?" They ask "they hate you"
We're heroes it's what we do.

I think he just took one change, a single staff member (Daniel) from STO left STO work and was replaced by someone else (Stephen), as a sign of a "massive shift." That person that left STO is now working on the new Cryptic Game. Which was over a year ago, yet he's acting like its fresh news. Heck, that article even shows that no resources were taken from STO, as that position was filled by another.

I'm a long time Champions player. I KNOW what its like when Cryptic shifts resources from one game to another. I felt it first hand when STO was in development AND again when Neverwinter was as well. We arnt there yet, not by a long shot.

We are still getting modules on a solid 4 month schedule. When that stops, or slows to 6 months or more between updates. THEN all the silly chicken little's are free to cry doom.

Liking the sounds of this so far :)

Can you throw us a bone and tell us if this game will allow for guilds to form?
