Done this twice in the past 3? days. 1st go with a freeform Defiance + fire build w self heal. No probs killed him down and left. 2nd go with a Void - ran into the heals up to 2/3rds health thing, found myself wishing for Lifedrain, left and resolved to come back at level 35.

AFAICT swinging for example does make you go a bit faster and is easier than on dry land. You don't have to keep pushing space. I think Deadalive is the correct phrase, according to another thread (which said state of the game but was really another doom thread) we are unlikely to receive any content other than ****ing alerts so yeah it's kinda undead really.

I understand completely and have been on a coupla Bursts w no Skarns Bane which I quit coz it was a waste of time. I'm just saying he's not unbeatable, tho it's a real good idea not to bother with an AoQephoth burst unless you're packing SB. Trauma and Skarns Bane are the best things for Ao Qephoth and if nobody in the team brought them then either. 1. The alert will definitely fail if it is a burst or 2. Sigh.. my prob is that in trying to nerf the dodge gear the nerf renders LR almost worthless. Oh and btw the justice pieces grant a 25 bonus to stats if you wear two or more of em, that said R5 mods go from 55 to 82 on my test character. Glitch!?
