Are you guys going to finally let me balance the games powers yet? or are you happy with the Ghosts of Seattle. Are you 'actually' happy with this?

**Power damage going through the un-defendable roof.
**Stealth mechanics completely out of control.
**Devices dominating the entire games outcomes.
**Old fashioned UI power exploits still all over the place.
**Specialisations that just plainly do nothing or dont work.
**and more.

more than 3 years...and nothing's changed for the better..it stupifys me watching each new thing come in create another huge problem, and nobody in the Ghosts of Seattle realizing what they just did.

Nobody new to Champions is capable of getting into this 'Corner of Gank-Squad Veterans' (not that it's their fault, they just have everything in the game and are using it) or being able to compete in any way other than to get said devices and repeat said broken mechanics or exploits to begin at thinking they can join in on this.

The gameplay in CO has gotten dirty with no honourable gameplay visible for the foresee-able future.
Aint good for business.

You'll ban me again, it's cool, it costs a ban to post i understand the rules. But i want you to think about something...

about how for the last 8+ months, the Ghosts from Seattle that were hired to fix things, balance and polish it up....whats happened in the last 8 months people. Can you tell me? I mean putting drifter salvage into Account bank is nice, theres a few tweaks here and there...but 8+ months, and has it changed?

It hasnt.

Let me fix it, come to realization instead of sweeping it under a rug. Peace yall, Cryptic have my email, i'd like for them to finally come to admittance. My last post. Probably be removed.

I'm not really sure how to respond to this, but here goes. Also, keep in mind that I am assuming you are referring to PvP in most cases.

I believe the bigger problem is people making themselves near-unkillable. Most people build tanky rather than going for straight up offense.

The stealth can use some tweaks, but it's not the worst. Slap on a couple of perception items and you're good to go.

Devices definitely help, but they do not dominate. I frequently duel and join the Hero Games, and I do not use devices very often. Of course they improve my performance when used, but they are not out of control. I can still win duels against people who use devices while refraining from using them myself.

Exploits were worse a few months ago, but they're not all over the place anymore. I don't see the problem here.

Specializations do need to be reworked and balanced.

As far as the veteran gank squads go... I started to seriously PvP in this game about 7 months ago. For the longest time, I did not use devices, "copybuilds," or exploits. In fact, I still use a themed build and have yet to exploit once. It was tough to compete at first, but I've done fine.

I really don't think things are as bad as you think. Try to be positive. Yes, there needs to be a bit of work done, but it's not completely doomed.

Who does the OP think he is actually? He seems to think he is a game developer.

I think this is the guy that previously said Cryptic should let him host the game on his imaginary servers too.

Dear OP: if you actually had the capability to single-handedly "fix" as well as host the game, you would already have a nice job somewhere making 6 figures and not be so concerned with trolling CO forums. You'd also probably have a little more perspective on how ludicrous you sound.

Haha guys you're all wrong...and that's the funniest thing about snake!

He's not a pvper...it was too easy for him after doing 40k crits with explosive arrow (haha) doesn't duel pps 'coz he's too OP. You get the idea...

He's not a game developer and also doesn't have any idea what should be fixed, since he seriously believed that the 5 dinos builds are not exploiting anything and are fair game!

Hehe...he's the perfect man for the job cryptic! Hire him!

I know he's more of a PvE'er, and that he is supposedly pretty good at building tanks. What I don't understand is why he had to bring up stealth, devices, and gank squads if he doesn't really PvP.

Haha, well stealth because it allows you to solo Terminators and do funny stuff with the game's top notch AI.

The rest is probably there just to fill the space.

Are you talking about PvP? Because no one gives a crap about PvP.

For the sake of "defeating" bad guys everything works as intended.

If the developers ignore underlining issues when players who discover these exploits come to them privately, those players really only have one choice at the consequence of the company's ignorance.

The OP is a player who has come to Cryptic's aid about serious exploits and issues with the game. But only after they posted issues publicly. Cryptic refused to fix issues until it becomes public.

    But that was the past.

Snakewildlife, go to your original methods to contacting them in private about these issues first and lets see what Cryptic North does differently. Lets see if they can find respect for their customers compared to the older team.

I thought Snake quit already. A couple of times. Am I supposed to be impressed this time?

Guess you're all happy with the somewhat easy PVE game we got then.
Been doing a lot of TSW - awesome being on dungeon teams once again.

Shrugs if I were to try and rebalance the game I'd roll back everything to a pre F2P state then start introducing a few of the better? changes we've had.

Gear would be reduced to Pre F2P levels but we would be able to craft level 40 blues.

Two types of enemy defences, those with good dodge and those with armor like Defiance or Invuln but not both cept maybe on particularly nasty enemies.

The old passive boosted by specific stats not neccessarily your superstats strikes me as a good balance, if you wanna get most out of your passive then you need to SS the specific stats to do it. If you wanted a crit build you needed to make sacrifices back then.

Start tweaking the sets to get a good balance each set to be evaluated carefully. I personally hate Devour Essence coz I think it makes a mockery of pretty much all content. But Something about Beastial would need tweaking upwards to compensate for a nerf to this I figure. Like I said careful!

Having done this start looking at the enemies. Health, damage, behaviour, appearence and numbers all affect the diff level so this is pretty in depth too.

Too much work and far too much throwing away so an unlikely thing to come about. Anybody else got any ideas?

Snake isn't happy because he attempted to do PvP and for some reason instead of actually trying to kill people attempted a super tank.

No offence but I hear you clearly didn't make the super tank correctly for PvP. You need to rotate the active defences, they aren't panic buttons in PvP but instead are tools to give you god mode.

Basically if you go a super DPS like what you complained about I'd imagian you wouldn't really survive for that long because you wouldn't have eve's like movement it may be closer to malwares tank movement. I don't know that for sure but I suppose you haven't PvP'd in so long it's what I would expect.

I don't want you to not like me when I say all this but we actually are starting to get a lot of people in PvP with concept / theme builds instead of the sort of cheese that you see on MC or seraphim. If you are complaining about us squishy concept / theme builders then that is truly something. :)

Too be honest in any game you wouldn't expect to beat 4 maxed dps players due to being invincible.

Way to gloss over the details that rightfully put 'Snake in a bad light. You left out all the parts where he tried to resort to threats of extortion when he didn't get a response he liked. Then took to openly mocking and condemning Cryptic multiple times on the forums because his demands weren't being met. Then the doozy where he tried to use the passing of a fellow player, within a day or two of the event, as ammunition against Cryptic for not having done the things he had been demanding. I can't imagine any development team would take that sort of thing seriously or respect the individual doing it.

That said, I agree about contacting the team privately. Especially when he knows good and well what kind of responses he'll get on the forums.

Guess no-one but me remembers Snakes threads on the game being way too easy pre F2P. Still nice to know we got the real priorities straight here so get on with the PVP arguments.

    Oh... you again.

Someone is already working on the powers balance. You're more than welcome to tell a more susceptible studio how to run their game and assert your right to be offered a position.
