You missed this line from literally right underneath what you quoted. Sure it's not the bullet point, but I suppose feeling welcome in the echo chamber must feel nice too. Each point of Particle Generators will grant .1% Crit Severity for Exotic Damage abilities, and there is no cap on this benefit.
I've had a cement mixer before. It was every bit as unpleasant as I feared and then some. But at least now I have no qualms about serving them to people that deserve it.
Just my two credits but, I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with having a failure condition attached to STFs as long as they're reasonable. What I see all too often with these threads is blanket "failure conditions suck, remove them all" statements that turn into echo chambers for either people defending the…
Didn't read the article, don't care to pay attention to what people like this have to say because people paying attention to them out of outrage is exactly what they're looking for. The reason I'm here though is to point out that I thought the URL in OP's post was to a website called "freebacon.com". Suffice to say, I was…
PM'd you the details since I don't know what the policy is on links and I don't want to move too much focus off seeing what others have to say about other developers and publishers.
Off the top of my head, Acclaim Games did a pretty abysmal job before they went defunct. I'm probably biased but I will never forgive Gravity for how badly they botched RO2 twice. I will say they've managed to keep the lights on for the original for more than a decade so they're probably doing something right. Nexon's…
One thing that worries me about this torpedo. I don't know if this is addressed earlier in the thread but I didn't see it in the first 5 pages. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't shield's high resilience to torpedos based largely on the assumption that torpedos universally deal kinetic damage? Knowing that does this mean…
Because stacking critD is good and antiproton complements that. Also it's the only weapon type bonus that's a passive effect and not a proc (unless you think scoring a critical hit counts as a proc).
BDA is admittedly a particularly egregious offender. I haven't been able to get a Disconnected PUG to fire lately but I remember seeing something interesting in the last one I was in. By the time the queue ended in failure after the third wave and the score sheet was displayed I noticed that the counter for Disconnected…
They're adapting. Perhaps not intentionally but the question is do we adapt to match or hope for a deus ex machina from the devs to take the teeth out of the borg yet again? Personally I've had some success mix and matching abilities to keep the heat off when shields go down. Hazard emitters keeps unnecessary plasma burn…
If you're moving over to a fresh ship you may also be losing some shields from a mastery ability. I don't remember if the DSD had a shield increase though.
One thing I will note about the trait is it doesn't say you have to use the cooldown reduced heals on yourself. I'm wondering if there's space to capitalize on this as some kind of fast and loose healer build centered around healing everyone else on the team while intentionally staying under 50% hull.
So now I'm curious. If a vaper is firing self healing beams out against a target dishing it back with FBP. Which takes priority? Do you still have a dead vaper or does the heal offset some of the reflected damage? Or does the heal happen before the damage is reflected and end up wasted?
Slightly more complicated than you're making it seem. The outcome of an R&D project is determined the moment you start it as can be seen by the quality color filling in the text of your active projects. Adding a cancel feature and changing nothing else is trivially abuseable as people could simply startand cancel their…
Okay future poster, before you hit that Reply button, let me ask you something. Do you REALLY want to be the reason why we can't have nice things? Do you? Be a pal and just let this one go. Just this once. Thanks.
I see it as more of everyone under their care suddenly having a donor card. When you fill out an organ donor card and carry it with you, do you trust the EMT that's in charge of saving your life in an accident? Or do you worry that he'll find your wallet and decide to "help you along" because he knows of a sick 9 year old…
Some people just want to watch the forum(world?) burn. You can't reason with them for there is no logic in blind hatred. You can't empathize with them because they do not welcome it. You can't appeal to them for they exist in a world where you are beneath even contempt.
