Using 26.0 Firefox now and it doesn't show.... I am hesitant to do a complete browser cache refresh --- I've got other stuff cached that I don't want to lose. Now that I know it's just invisible (to me, anyway) I can play at work. :D
Well, I moused around the area it used to be and I got a hand interaction mouse icon, so I clicked and it DID seem to disable the sound.... but it's not VISIBLE. Just an empty area under the change character area. No icon to click on. At least I CAN silence it, although I'm not sure why the icon doesn't show. I tried…
I am hoping that this must-be-in-a-guild requirement is only for the PvP aspects of Gauntlgrym because if a solo, unguilded player of level 60 can't get in, then I'm done.
I would also like the option to turn off Invocation xp. But the OPTION. My level 60 that I rarely play uses the invocation exp to "level up" new companions --- log on, Invoke, send companion for training. However, I have an alt that I got to 17 or so --- just before the longish Spellplague tower mission --- and through…
In the real world, I'm Lawful Good... in a fantasy setting where I was a 'hero', I would likely be Neutral or even Chaotic Good. When it's my REAL life on the line, I toe the laws... but if I am playing a proficient thief, then it's neutral or chaotic ---- I'd gladly break laws that I didn't agree with in THAT setting. And…
Not to be pedantic, but did you check the postal courier to see if the potions were in a mail package from the auction house? They don't drop into inventory directly. Ah, just saw the third (tiny) pic... so, not in mail. But then, the top two screenshots just indicate that you are winning the auction -- none of them are…
When I first got Divinity I used it "improperly" which is to say as a Beam Of Death, burning down a foe. Since I solo, the right click did nothing for me except annoy me when I was trying to put Astral Seal on a foe and it was just doing nothing until I popped OUT of Divinity mode. Since then, I've learned to use it only…
It's small consolation, but it IS possible to avoid fighting there at the intersection of the road from the Old Dirty Dwarf and the road in front of the Cathedral. Basically, you have to avoid the patrolling Hellfire mage (whatever she's called, with wings and a staff). If you avoid her, you can go straight across the road…
I've not tried to equip a second bag of holding, but HOW are you trying to equip it? Did you try dragging it down to the very bottom of the inventory widow where the bags are? There is most likely an empty spot down there, but if you somehow filled them all --- like with the trash Bags With Holes bags --- then you may not…
I suspect that the only way to get Tailors (or higher) is to get them from the purchased (or won) Professions Packs. The Assistant Tailors can craft anything the others can, I think --- just takes longer. You MIGHT be able to get non-white-quality profession assets from the Celestial Coins (stack to 7, one coin per day,…
I don't have an Ioun Stone or Cat or other 'passive' boosting-pet... but I SEEM to recall reading that someone said their passive Companion took trap damage... and maybe they also take AoE damage (not specifically targeted to them but they're in the area). I would THINK that this would be a bug, if it's the case.
Numerically, yah, I like the other sets. But I love that extra stealth. Also, the other sets were insanely more expensive on the Auction House (when I could even find any). I only have a handful of Seals and no idea where there is a Seal vendor for level 60 Gear (if there is such in the game yet)... but it may be that I…
It may not be broken; I was cruising through the snow and on a lark wandered over to what appeared to be an open cave entrance... it had no sparklies or anything but when I got close enough I COULD enter it. Inside was a single cave (possibly with an antechamber for the rez-point, I forget)... fought a few foes and found…
Not familiar with this bug. What do you mean by "teleporting to instance"? Do you mean hitting "M" and then the Change Instance button not working? Or clicking on the gate doors to leave Protector's Enclave not giving you the world map to select a destination?
A bit hard to read but some general notes: You should only roll back after dropping the Bait and Switch dummy if you are NOT in stealth. In Stealth, you should not roll back and your stealth bar should re-fill. I usually rush into combat and enter stealth just as they twig to my presence (take maybe one ranged attack hit)…
I've never yet seen any dye drops (although I never do Dungeons, so I suppose it could drop there). I broke down and paid zen for some black dye packs for my rogue's Fashion slot gear --- stuff that I will never have to / want to / need to replace with "better quality" gear. By the by... to edit the appearance of a level…
Dunno about the coin thing (I solo, so I just run over ALL of it) but as for the pet... the cat is generally regarded as one of the best, since it cannot be killed (well, it's not SUPPOSED to be able to be killed) and just passively buffs your crit, recovery and whatever stats you put on the gear it can hold. The rocky guy…
When you equip the weapon, your power stat goes up by 31 pts... power increases your damage and healing --- hit "C" and on your character sheet to the lower right corner will be a list of all your stats. Hover over them to see what they do. Power is, I think, very near the top of that list. Not really a crafting question,…
It IS pretty simple. The Leadership "crafting recipes" include things like protecting a caravan or finding a home for refugees or surveying the local area, and so on... but it basically boils down to click a button, wait X minutes and then loot coin, exp, astral diamonds and some other resources (like a chest with…
Hindsight being 20/20, if I had to do it over again I would focus on Leadership and max it out first. There's practically no way you can level up your crafting fast enough to keep up with your actual levels unless you pretty much ONLY craft --- I've got a few alts that I ONLY craft on, so they are actually crafting stuff…
Say what you will about its flaws (and there were many), but I still fondly remember Everquest I's crafting system. I was quite the chef at one point, trekking to the snowcapped mountains to hunt Mammoth for their meat, then going elsewhere to get eggs to make the dough to make the pie crusts to make my delicious mammoth…
That IS a high-traffic area. The ONE thing that they could do to help issues would be to remove this one patrolling hellmage --- you should be able to take the foes one group at a time EXCEPT for that wanderer that, I think, ends up pulling everyone else in. It's definitely a busy area and IS quite the challenge. Which…
I'm pretty sure I was in a Foundry mission once where a dialog option was grayed out because I was not a worshipper of some specific Deity... if that's the case (and the dialog entry was not improperly built and was looking for class and assuming that class would worship that deity, etc) then it looks like the Deity you…
Not all - you can use the Robe of Useless Items, for example, from inventory -- it doesn't equip it on you. I -think- the invis cloak I have works from inventory, too, but I hardly ever use it, so I could be wrong. I also haven't tried hot-swapping equipment during combat... except, I think may have dragged a healing…
Did you try left-clicking and dragging it into your inventory? The "automatic" item-moving means (double-click, right-click menu equip) only affect the primary ring (or dagger for rogues).
