  • So after 8 business days of no contact from anyone at PWI/Neverwinter after in-game ticket and email support, I have been forced to request a refund via PayPal. My account has been suspended immediately as a result of this dispute.
  • Normally, I would agree with you. But you are charging a premium for not only Founder Access but also Zen. Therefore, under the simple fact that I am a paying customer two fold - I should be given priority over other F2P players. Otherwise, what other incentive is there for me to purchase anything from Perfect World when…
  • Support page isn't directing properly either. I am 3 days away from charge backing all the Zen I've purchased guys - under goods not received. Recommend immediate escalation and response of my ticket and/or response from an official on these forums.
  • The AD exchange still displayed my balances after the patch. With the exchange back up and running I am still missing the amount of AD. As for the gentleman who suggest I check PWI balance, it has not been refunded. Thus, the AD/Zen has gone missing and I am yet to receive a reply from support regarding this matter.
  • Castle Neverwinter currently cannot be done with a GWF and/or GF - it is a wasted spot.
  • I think the intention is to sell BoE blues/purples on a gold cost. Rather than AD.
  • Being fair, there really isn't much more they can do about the 5man grouping bosses besides what they have. It's on par with what WoW offers. Raids are going to be where you have bosses with different phases to get down I reckon. Give it a few months, you'll see.
  • This I don't get, pay to win what exactly? There are no fancy armour sets or swords that you will never achieve by playing the game without spending a cent on zen. So again, how is it pay to win? Let's say you want to take the argument as, selling zen on the exchange gets you AD. Ok, and with that AD you can get some half…
  • If you're like me, RNG gods don't favour at all. So I've not bothered, with any zen thing. Zen for a chance of professions? Yea no thanks. If I'm spending real money, I want a real guaranteed item I want. Other than that, happy to have what I have outright from HotN and drop the game when something else comes along.
  • Only 351 more days until my tank gets the Guardian Angel lol.

  • I don't agree about a respect for free. But I firmly believe a lot of the zen features should be an AD cost for HotNs.
  • Your example however is flawed, you obviously started with a fair amount of AD from either the Guardian or Hero pack. A F2P account making that amount of AD would take at least a month of average playtime. But overall, I do agree this isn't P2W, just P2accessfaster.
  • Used it until about level 20-25. It does make the 1-15 extremely easy as it is a level 20 weapon. Starts to equalize out the closer you get to replacement weapons. Recommended works off of Gear Score on the item. It is a very inaccurate method of gear recommendation.
  • Already pratically seen it. Assigned to a MM of 3 TRs and 2 GWFs in Lair of the Dragon. Anyone who has done that knows it is not possible without a healer and tank. MM is still fundamentally broken. That said, half the issue, no I would say the entire issue with the wait times for dungeons is that 80-90% of players are DPS…
  • Hero pack gives you everything the Guardian pack does, except you are given a T1.5 weapon the moment you hit 60. Something you won't replace until/if you ever see Castle Epic. Everything else, for Hero and Guardian apart from the XP booster and starter gear, is gimmicy crud IMO. Worth it? Nope, you can live and get by…
  • Thus far my stack is up to 300+, once you reach 999, or even before then, mail it to a random recipient. Problem solved.
  • I look forward to the expansion of them as well. But I don't look forward to the complaints of P2W when everyone realizes to train them it will be a huge amount of AD or Zen.
  • Even halved prices I would still say no. Adventurers Bag has a heap of worthless crud in it, the only interesting thing is the XP Booster. But $15 for it? They're dreaming. I would rather buy a stack of 10 XP Boosters for maybe $5, but not $15 for ultimately 1. The rest of the fancy mounts and aesthetical things, shouldn't…
  • Personally, I don't have an issue with people "exploiting" their way to 60. It doesn't affect me in the least. Foundry was a lazy way to release PvE content without Cryptic having to create it, and as much as they will try to stay on top of it, EXP farming content will be released daily. Once you've levelled a few…
  • 1. Be happy gold is auto pick up and not WoW-esque click to auto loot everything. 2. Overpowered, and you should try grouping. 3. WoW didn't even have aesthetics done, T1 and T2 geared players were walking around in what appeared to be rags for 4-6 months before the updates were made to model textures. Considering this is…
  • This game isn't for you then. F2P models are killing themselves on currency exchange the more it costs to develop. Neverwinter is the worst exchange rate I have ever seen, and I won't be spending any further money on this game. I expect a shelf life of 6 months or so depending on how my guild progresses and whether we jump…
  • It does take a very long time considering the mechanic of the fight is relatively simple and repetitive. I had a group that lost a DPS to a d/c and it took us a good 20 minutes to take him down.
  • I highly doubt it. In-game cash is already laughably useless, all you end up doing is purchasing health potions and injury kits at max level. Everything else is AD. Give players the capability to make their own pots and part of the market goes funk up.
  • You can play in your formal gear with your combat gear stats in full effect. Most formal gear is obtained from either a founders pack, tramudline bars (from nightmare lockboxes) or zen. When I say most, I mean all at this stage. I'm not certain if Tailors can make fancy stuff now or in the future. But thus far zen sinks…
  • TBH it's not a real biggie losing the weekly. The only half decent things are day 5 professions and day 7 enchant bag. But you get equivalent opening a professions box in a zone or killing a boss.
  • I think GWFs are the same balancing act that Blizzard couldn't fit in with DPS warriors. There is a rumor floating around that they will receive an 'aura' buff to at least give a party/raid incentive to keep them around. But at the moment they're a wasted spot giving nothing that can't be done better by everything else.…
  • The "no armor on" thing is most likely their formal dress - nothing - but they still receive full stats from their combat gear. So calm down sweetie pie, they're not naked. As for the rogue overpopulation, it's quite normal, they're the easiest class by far to solo and progress through content. But once they reach end…
  • I would love for you to explain how/why GWFs are balanced. Because I, and my guild, see absolutely no point to bringing them along to an epic progression when they have nothing to offer the party as a whole. Perhaps in the future when this rumored "aura" buff is going to be implemented for them. But until then, they remain…
  • Confirmed, went down a minute ago. Dragon shard.
  • Thus far Cryptic's target market for zen are vanity players (those wanting to look cool) and those wanting to level professions quickly (those wanting to get end game/economy domanance). I personally believe they have no other target market besides those two people.
