  • Also, why is the cap set at 10 coal wards based on your number of trade bars? Give people what they would have gotten otherwise at the reduced price, and be done with it if this is the direction you're going to go. A one time drop, since we had zero notice. "Here's xx number of wards (bound) @ the promised 75 bar price.…
  • I'm in the minority, but I get why this is being done. Can't say I'm thrilled about it, but I understand it. However, $10 per coal ward going forward is way too far out of wack. We should be able to get something like a 5-pack for $10 at least, considering how necessary they are to ranking up anything. Either that or that…
  • This is the key. I think they realized that we had too much time to bank up trade bars before the change since we knew what was coming, and they didn't want us to be able to upgrade everything we have on day 1. They want us to spend some of the bars we have on other stuff and they'll add them back in after we're depleted.…
  • You don't get anything in game. You'll get a message on Xbox Live saying congrats, and that the item will appear in your inventory later. If you missed the XBL message there isn't any other notification other than a hamster showing up in one of your bags. =)
  • Thanks. I'll check again tonight. I only logged in to collect my VIP rewards last night and saw that I was one of the lucky winners, so I had to try him out. I was in the busier section of CK in IWD so lag could have been a possibility. I only got to try twice because of the cooldown and I wasn't staying on long enough to…
  • Anyone know when DR will officially be turned on?
  • This is correct. Once you open up the campaign window and go to Sharandar and start opening up some of the stuff in the window you'll get a quest complete and a voice over telling you some more stuff. I don't think there is specifically a "rewards" button.
  • Depends on if you're talking PvE or PvP Also, SoD has been changed to only affect one mob, and it procs off of encounter powers only now, so you need to open with a stealth lashing, instead of spamming duelist's flurry. Run your duelest's after SoD has landed.
  • Also, you talk about flurry and stuns. Are you a scoundrel build TR? If so, that may be part of the problem. I've had much better luck with both the Saboteur and Executioner trees for PvE in Mod 6 (just my own opinion, YMMV, but I've respecced a couple of times now). The defensive feats in the scoundrel tree don't help…
  • Pay to win? They gave everyone 200 health stones......for free. If you don't want to use them then that's your choice, but it's obvious they did it for a reason. Once you get leveled and geared up a bit better it's not nearly as bad. I do have to constantly restock my health potions though in between questing. That's…
  • They gave us health stones for a reason. It's going to suck until you get geared up @ 70 with artifact weapons that aren't green and 61% armor penetration. It took me a while, and I definitely went through a few health stones taking him down solo, but the mechanics are different when you can't just burn stuff down anymore…
  • To be fair, Spiderman did say during the twitch feed on patch day that PC was getting their double RP weekend last weekend, and he knew when the double RP was coming for Xbox but his lips were sealed and he wasn't telling. So it IS coming, we just don't know exactly when. Has to be soon though if they've already got it…
  • Noticed a few times when I'm dodging in the middle of a fight if I try to use a potion or a healthstone right around then that sometimes it doesn't land, however I lose the potion and am locked out on cooldown. Not sure if the game thinks I'm "dodging" my potion, but it's gotten me killed a couple of times because I…
  • I had an easy time through the Minsc quests and through the first zone. It definitely got harder as I got closer to 70, but I attributed that mostly to the fact that I now had crappy gear for my level. Not going to lie, I died a few times and ran through my share of potions. I was no longer rolling over everything, but I…
  • You're not killing those giants at 65 by yourself. Or if you are, it's taking longer than it would to finish a quest and get 15k xp from it anyway.
  • After that go visit Sargent Knox. He's got the quests to the new areas at 70.
  • Not sure if it's intended or not, but I got my main hand artifact weapon from finishing all of the quest line in Spinward Rise, finishing while I was still 69. Once I hit 70 Sergeant Knox sent me to Lord Never and he gave me another main hand artifact. If intended, thanks for the extra refinement!
  • xboxdvr.com/gamer/Axem%20the%20Great/screenshot/1476425 Edit - Also, can we get confirmation that we're posting in the right thread? Don't want to spam the board with my screenshot in more places than I need to.
  • I had to run around and read all of the pieces of lore on the tables first (I think there's six total), and then she quizzes you about why you're there. If you pass then she trusts you and will start feeding you quests.
  • Love the VIP program. Converted a bunch of AD to zen about a week before to cover 12 months. Had to sell a perfect vorpal to cover it, but it was worth every penny (diamond?). Enjoying the XP grind in new zones again. I've also heard that the PVP is really fun as well, but I haven't had a chance to experience yet. Trying…
  • Doesn't the cat run away when combat starts? I was always told it was unkillable. It doesn't attack like other companions do, so I'm sure it's treated like an augment.
  • I guess I don't know what the difference is between the gold/silver/bronze brackets, and the rank you finish? I've always been in the gold group (never seen anything different), but I don't always crack the top 10. Anyone know what they mean, and how they affect your loot chances?
  • The DPS on the heads is where you win or lose this event. You're always going to get three shots at the heads regardless of how fast you kill the summoners / protect the clerics. Most wins all finish with 5+ minutes left on the timer, and that can all be used in those other phases if you need it. The heads are only up for…
  • Wouldn't it be more cost effective to buy zen and convert it to AD for something like a brilliant diamond (250,000 RP) than it would be to buy a blood ruby pack ($20, for 150,000 RP) The blood ruby equates to 7,500 RP per dollar spent if you buy the three pack (if I remember correctly). A brilliant diamond's price can vary…
  • Two bone swirls in ~15 kills in my 30's and 40's. Probably 10 kills in Neverdeath and another 5 in Ebon Downs. Very first Charthraxis kill gave me a bone swirl. Coins and runes every other time.
  • Actually these threads usually end up with you becoming the main champion for nerfing Rogues in each one. I figured you would be for as many of these posts as people will make. The one disadvantage to Rogues is they have to be up close to deal the big damage, and in stealth, and behind you. If you see a Rogue coming and he…
  • I don't have a problem giving something to someone who needs it. The problem comes in when the person is given the option to need on something when he/she may not actually need it, and the system gives them an unfair advantage to get extra loot over the rest of the group. That's not cool. You're basically using the honor…
