I wish you guys (Cryptic) would give more notice on upcoming events. E.g. Double AD, Double RP etc.

Announcing it the day before makes it really difficult for people to make plans to join in.

With enough notice (say 1 week) players can adjust their weekend plans to make sure they get enough game time, whereas at the moment it's pot luck if you are going to be around or not.

Cancelling on family & friends to play NW is not really a good thing to do and I'm sure many players miss events because of this, but with sufficient notice people have the chance to schedule effectively.

I would see if it was possible to arrange things so I could fit both in - for example I REALLY wouldn't want to miss double refinement as I've been saving up for a couple of months.

If I knew a good event was on this weekend I would try to get my game time in early if I had something planned for the evening - as an example.

You have a point there, and speaking of game over RL - for someone who says he only plays one hour a day he's on the forum the other 23 - lol

It would also prevent AH speculations on big market moves on short-notice announcements where a few lucky ones make fortunes. One thing is someone learns from Twitter that in 6 hours there'll be a DRP, another thing is when it is announced a month ahead so people can make plans.
