It's unreasonable to consider greed as a variable; it is virtually constant. In reality most people will not do as you described and will do what ever they can to further their own cause without thought for the collective. As such the degree of priced growth as a result of this is called inflation so that it may be…

Here's a possible coin sink, HP and MP charms that can be bought with coin from an NPC. These charms would have a much longer cool-down time (perhaps twice as long) than the boutique charms, so the boutique charms wouldn't become unused. The purpose of this would be to help drain coin while at the same time making it…

Now's when we could have used that Jolly Jones sale... The coin option would be better than the gold. As such it would in fact remove lots of coin from circulation. For those of you who question this, current gold: at least 380k best guadrian scroll (angle) buy option is 2.9 gold for 10, which reduces to 110200 coin for…

It could be attributed to the fact that time and thought are no longer a requirements to do well in the game. A lot of money can now largely subsitute for these things. (I wont say more or this thread may be locked; I may have said too much already)

The frostland weapon is slightly better now that I have a look, but it probably can be igrnored since to my knowledge it's pretty much impossible to get even with the update. ☆Aquadash Glaive Close Range Grade 12 Attack Range 3 Physical attack 421-569 Magical attack 678-1017 Magic Attack +70 Channelling -3% Magic +14~15…

Well these are the main options to consider, ☆Wraith Conquerer Magic Sword Close Range Grade 11 Attack Range 3 Physical attack 411-616 Magical attack 748-914 Channelling -3% Magic +14~15 Vitality +14~15 This would be the "universal" weapon as it has -chan and +mag for fire power and +vit for survivability. ☆Blade of the…

That cleric doesn't have enough hp in my opinion. There are many defence/resist defuffs iin pvp and high level bosses have debuffs for 100%, so the defence/resist doesn't mean as much as one would think.
-
Typically a cleric needs hp and -chan the most so this is probably the best level 80 choice. ☆Endless Ambiguity Magic Sword Close Range Grade 10 Attack Range 3 Physical attack 370-555 Magical attack 673-822 Maximum Magic Attack +118 Channelling -3% HP: +165 Str required 44 Int required 240 Level Required: 80

I am surprised no one has mentioned cleric debuffs. Probably one of the most useful things a lowish level cleric would be able to contribute other than making sure everone is buffed.

At lvl 89, with full vit build (that's 3 mag per level rest vit), hit Brigand Transient in fb79 for 85884 damage from sage cyclon following sage spark with dragons and lvl 10 elemental seal. As a side note this was one of the times I was glad to not be full magic since I would have most likely pulled aggro off the bm that…

I accounted for the over lap: 2.5 strength + 0.5 dexterity + 3 magic = 6 stat points needed per level I don't see how you came up with 5.5 unless you didn't check the math and just assumed I was wrong.
-
There is no proper stat distribution for heavy armor + magical weapon because it isn't possible to have both at your level by just using base stats. The minimum requirment of stats per level to use your level of heavy armor is: 2.5 strength 0.5 dexterity The minimum requirment of stats per level to use your level of…

The only serious concern with unique builds is that they are unstable. What I mean by this is that while they may excel at certain levels with certain equipment they tend to have great difficulty at others due to the issue of finding equipment that will make the build work.
-
Typicly when you want to know how much damage you will do it's best to take an average of the minimum and maximum for anything that has a range, AvgMagicAttack = (minMagicAttack + maxMagicAttack)/2 As such having a certain maximum magic attack bonus will be half as effective as that same value as a magic attack bonus.

What has been stated is not really true so I will try to clarify but... ***WARNING INVOLVES MATH*** I will use plume shot level 1 as an example to show how the damage for spells computes. This is what the spell discription says: Focus your psychic energy to form sharp quill arrows to attack the enemy. Inflicts physical…

Heavy armor for a cleric only has potential of working for very high levels, >90. At this point it's possible to have enough stat+ gear to equip both heavy armor and your level of magic wep, as such you would have the same healing power of a light armor cleric. Also the hp issue is somewhat balanced by the fact that heavy…

I was wondering if anyone knows what gold prices are on other versions of PW. I am interested in know what happened in these servers as they have been around longer and so have a higher player average level as well as some content that we have yet to get. As such the gold/coin ratio in these servers may reflect what can be…

It has been stated only the 3* item drops are reduced by high level squads running an fb, while the mold drop rate is not, this is in fact only true in one sense. The chance that molds can be achieved from the "additional drop" IS NOT changed by level. The chance that molds can be achieved from the "normal drop" IS changed…

The existance of the mob [78] Hallowed Lupine Infernal hasn't been verified in any of the the databases I know of. As a result no co-ordinates are given. Could be that like other mobs Perfect World development created their graphic and stats but for some reason never placed them on the map. ---- I'd suggest you try [76]…

Perhaps I was too indirect I will try to clarify why I bothered to post. Original Post's claim: Clerics>Venomancers Nelae, Elendil, and Reivi took this in terms of coin in bank. I am stating that incomewise clerics are at a substantial dissadvantage (I am using the specific case of grinding because too many things…

The only thing that has ever made me rethink being a Cleric is how much money we burn to maintain mana. While we do have a buff that increases mana/hp regeneration its effect is negligable when solo'ing at higher levels (60 on wards), due to it bing reduced to 25% in combat. In anycase I acknoledge that this is just…

Plume Shell will absorb any direct damage that calculates using the "physical defence" modifier (the percent that your armour reduced physical damage by). As a result any thing that would hit for direct physical damage (source be spell skill, range skill, melee skill, genie skill, pets skills, etc. is irrelevant as far as…

Well many people make alternate characters of a different class for the purpose of being able to do something different from time to time. Since the classes play quite differently if you find you're getting tired of one style of character play you can switch over to another and then switch back at a later time. This can…

I could be wrong but it sounds very much like the claric was toying with your BM (intentionally not killing you) because such a kill due lvl difference would be meaning less on the pvp count. Still doesn't explain the low damage but if the claric had wanted you dead he/she would have most likely used wield thunder (none…

I cold be wrong but to me this seems to be an issue regarding the polygon count overloading peoples' CPU or GPU. (polygons are what make up 3D animations and tend to take considerable processing if they are complex) The introduction of genies seem to have substantially increased the number of polygons that must be…
-
If it's true that the lag was never so bad before genies were released then the solution really is rather simple. Have them not be processed/rendered on lowest graphic setting... After all not being able to see the other peoples' genies would not be a substantial disadvantage in comparison to the lag you describe. (3fps…

Why is it that you would only buff yourself when the buff wares off? If you check the math Demo Spirits Gift gave a bigger power boost than spark did. Regarding the spark itself I put it in there for effect since Demon Spirits Gift has the ability to stack with it. I am well aware that the two spark versions are very…

I was planning on going sage but there is one skill that demon has that seems ridiculously powerful: (from ecatomb) Demon Spirit's Gift Demon version grants an additional 150% to magic attack for the first 10 seconds. Note that it says magic attack where as the original skill only increases weapon magic attack So I would…

A good idea is to try and buy up mana enough providers when they are inexpensive such that you have enough stored till the next sale. I suppose you could be looking at wanting to store upwards of 9M in mana however. Regarding increased mana regen. pots, they look great one the surface but they simply aren't as good as they…
