I wouldn't say the OP is worrying - they are trying to bring to light that the desired good, (in this case the Railgun), is what they wanted, and the currency utilized, (keys), was the medium chosen because they left him with practically no other option.
Ah! TYVM for the exhaustive list. I'll probably pick this up when I get the chance. UPDATE: So I picked up the Robot Samurai and Bone Armor sets w/ stipends I had saved up. There are some really nice pieces between these two sets. My only disappointment was in finding that the single-shoulder gi top isn't available in both…
I haven't visited these boards in a while. Glad to see we're finally getting some C-Store sets. I don't have access to the game ATM - anybody have pics of the full set? The C-Store screenshots seem to be of just the upper body. I'm interested if the set includes more than juts the hat, shoulder pads, bracers, and sword...…
What they should do is to embrace and expand upon what CO and NW do well, while also learning from what they've done wrong: 1. Build the game with a full range of enjoyable non-tedious end-game content. It must be challenging, but not frustrating, while also being rewarding. 2. Allow powers and abilities to function…
You want to *really* make sidekicks sell? Easy! Allow us to make them use a saved costume of our choosing. The 1-hour + long cooldown is fine, but having them be premades is just not suitable to the highly customizable nature of champions...
1. A fixed-wing jetpack - it can be folded down when you're not flying and deploy while in flight, but I want wide open wings that do not flap at all. Bonus points if they can be made to resemble the wings of a fighter jets, (possibly with metal panels and flaps). 2. Customizeable power armor weapons - this includes wrist…
I agree that a selection of single pistol attacks would be nice. The only issue w/ trying to treat the dual pistol attacks the same way the ego blades attacks were, is that the ego blades attacks kinda cheat by using the same animation whether you have 1 or 2 blades. Using a single pistol, but keeping with the same dual…
1. Sticky Bomb - Gadgeteering or Munitions: You do a short dash toward your enemy, (like say 20'), plant a sticky bomb right on them, then do a quick jump backward, (as said bomb goes off). It'd have an advantage that knocks the enemy back. 2. Drill Punch - Gadgeteering: Similar to chainsaw gauntlet, this power would be a…
Some good stuff there, but I was hoping to find something that basically stated that 'Report Spam' was meant for RMTs, not "this person posted in chat a bunch of times in zone so they're spamming". Thanks again folks!
Take all those costume pieces that have extra "bits" sticking out of them, like how the samurai shoulder pads and bracers have that "fin piece", and add a variant that doesn't have them. Another example would be to offer the Hi-Pan helmet without the horns on the side, or offer the gladiator bracers from the newest Malvan…
There are 5 classes TOTAL in NW. There are more than 5 free ATs here in CO. In NW, you can have 2 active, 3 encounter, and 2 daily abilities available at any given time. Yes, there are some passives abilities as well, but many of them are situational or only provide a small bonus. Either way, I've been playing NW and CO…
A more feasible idea would be to make new passives that have properties from 2 other passives. For instance, Might has Unstoppable, which has some damage absorption, (like Invuln), and also increases damage. However, combining 2 defensive passives might be a bit too good - if you had invuln + regen, even if they just…
The solution in a freeform type of scenario is to maintain a complex system of power exclusions and restrictions. Like, if you took power A, you couldn't take power B, and power A made power C only 50% as effective as someone who had power D instead. If the devs had created this sort of web from the get-go, they could…
*If* the devs attached meaningful, (but non-exploitable), rewards to play a CO version of the Foundry, then this could be very good for the game. The key would be to allow players to create custom costumes and builds for the enemies that they chose to populate these user-generated missions with. If there were meager or no…
And there are little things about the rotating content (special alerts) that irks me - can we fix the intro cutscene for the Hi Pan alert so he says the first lines? Can we fix the issue with NPCs sliding along the ground during cutscenes, instead of walking? Don't get me wrong - I still love CO, but it needs some love!
There's like 2 devs working on this game, and I doubt they're even here full time anymore. Other enterprising players have demonstrated that there's tons of unused costume pieces that they could easily slap together and release as a costume pack. Me? I get the impression that those still working on this game were given…
IMO, if they just took the sidekick devices, (which all use regular character models), added a few more so all power sets are represented, then just allowed you to use them w/ a saved costume file, this would satiate many people's desire for a permanent sidekick. Now add a permanent sidekick device, for say 1000 Zen,…
I played a bit longer, and have gotten farther than I did during the previous beta weekend. The game has a few very interesting mechanics: Having different attacks, as a Guardian Fighter, while my shield is raised, is very cool. The limited number of actual active abilities, and having to swap out new powers for old,…
In groups, and due to how aggro works in this game, the extra damage an offensive passive gives you seems to be just enough to exceed the aggro a tankish character generates, while not providing enough extra damage or durability to allow you to handle the extra attention from the boss. IMO, all offensive passives should…
Well, I use the following bind so I can just shift+left click to cast it wherever I happen to be looking: [The below assumes Strafing Run is in power slot 3] /bind lshift+lbutton "+powertrayexec 2"
There is a mission in the desert where you have to defeat a bunch of robots for their personality chips, then get some parts from 2 or 3 different junk piles guarded by Viper. There's also a mission where you defeat cowboy robots to get different parts, (which used to reward you with a cowboy robot AF IIRC). Either way,…
Perhaps the set could also include things like the old style single-lens divers' goggles, a double-tank scuba backpack, and maybe a knife w/ sheath on your ankle or wrist.
Well, the Lemurian helmet was close, but it's too open. I'd like to see something with portholes, like real dive helmets had... There's too much glass in it:
The innate abilities suggested for this set are just too powerful: They're kinda like the -dodge from despondency, the -heal from trauma, and the -RES from stagger.
Not to mention the fact that, AFAIK, no power imposes a debuff which increases your target's chance to dodge your attacks. All dodge buffs that I am aware of are self-applied, (like from evasive maneuvers or MD).
Both heavy weapon and single/dual blade have scythes. In fact, single/dual blade actually has 2 scythe models. Regardless, this is why we need something akin to a "form toggle", which either changes the damage type you deal or adds an additional damage type and effect, (like a dark form that deals dimensional damage and…
I've been able to complete the blue (original) track without fail, but the red (newer) track is just a moss - no guide dots, and the rings aren't in sight of the previous once. I did notice that the red track rings have roman numerals on them, (I'm assuming so you know which one you;re supposed to go through next), but the…
OP, there is no "accuracy" in this game - every attack always hits. If you force your opponent to lose target lock on you, however, they can't use any direct attacks against you. They can still use things like PBAoE attacks that don't require a target, though.
Wrong! That's only during the cleanup after said act... Those "chunks" Ironclad is throwing into the dump truck at the end of the Tutorial... they're not concrete.
That's a good idea. They could also offer some way of simply gifting Zen to a friend. My only request would be that this type of system have an extra layer of security implemented, so if heaven forbid your account got hacked, someone couldn't just gift away all your Zen - perhaps have it send an email to the registered…
TBH, I don't see the devs releasing the piece in some other way - the batwing sycthe and teddy minigun from the Harujuku Twins sidekick device was never made available any other way... OTOH, the piece isn't linked to the vehicles, just the promotion that's on now.. so I guess anythings' possible.
