Server crashed?

I just got disconnected from the server and can't reconnect. Anyone else?

    Seems to be the case.. i got booted from Neverwinter and can't get into Champions either.

    The whole friggin CO website and game went down for me.

    Oh okies.. Glad to see it isn't just me,but also not glad that such an error in the system has occurred. Hopefully everything is recoverable and will be a-okay.:redface:

    I would never post such nonsense.
    When I take a break from games I just take a break, as I have done many times over the last few months.

    I am not so arrogant or self important to think I need to inform people of my intent to "quit" a game and say exactly why.

    But to answer your specific query: I am devoting most of my time to Neverwinter right now.
    Soon I will be back to busting heads in CO.

    Oddly, I can get to this here Champions Online website by http://co.perfectworld.com ... but not by http://champions-online.com.

    Methinks there is some larger issue than merely "the servers are down".

    Yeah I was on Neverwinter. Doing runs for a pirate hat drop for my angry old sailor.

    Right before the boss, my party crashes. Oh well.

    All I know is that the servers crashed and crashed hard. Normally external chat (as that's on a different server) stays up if something happens to the game servers. Heck - I've seen chat stay up the entire time while the game servers are down for weekly maintenance.

    Cryptic could easily fit more onto the same game server . . . by simply limiting the content available to CO.
