Nice ship reward at the end, but needs something other than dil, as a reward. I'm trying to burn down my ore stash. Also, I think we'd all enjoy a way to spend our GPL.
Mirror Renee is something like the late Citizen Admiral McQueen. Charismatic, excellent officer, but almost too clever for her own good. Edited for better word choice
Played it through twice, once before and once after the fix. It's the kind of content that keeps players happy. A good story, an unexpected plot twist (LCDR VanZyl!), and it moves the story along. Thanks.
Agreed the Ready Room should have a head. There should also be one for the bridge watch standers just off screen. Single stall with a sink crammed into an outboard.
Captain Renee Thompson is my primary toon. She never went through either tutorial, but she was a fairly typical goldshirt junior officer from her graduation from Starfleet Academy in 2402. She was aboard the USS Montgomery Scott as the Damage Control Assistant until 2405, along with a promotion to Lieutenant JG. She was…
I admit, I kind of like Archer. He's not perfect by any means, but he's the most human to me. He doesn't have the Classic Action Hero feel from Kirk. He's not Mr. Perfect like Picard. He isn't trying to be "A Saint in the Real World" like Sisko. He doesn't have the Janeway bipolarism. Full disclosure: I had a hard time…
I think I'll finally make an Alt out of my Andorian First Officer, and give her a very quirky bridge crew. Straightlaced by the book type as the center of a bunch of people with problems.
Not a bad mission overall Few Reveiew Notes: -You could use some copy editing help on the dialogue. Nothing major, just a bit of polishing. The extra space before a punctuation mark was annoying. -Good use of the Defiant Interior -Having the Chief Engineer as a "LT Kyle" reminds me of TOS. And now yours appears as a Top…
Here's a bit of Real Life based 'Chrome' talk to think about. First, take a look at the US Navy Regulations Chapter 10 , Section 4. It starts on page 17 of this document: http://doni.daps.dla.mil/US%20Navy%20Regulations/Chapter%2010%20-%20Precedence,%20Authority%20and%20Command.pdf Generally, after the Captain and First…
Played it, and over all a good mission. Only issue is that in combat aboard DEFIANT, the player is dropped right into combat with a dialouge box. It's just not good design. Could you link the spawn of the enemies to closing the box?
Actually that is even better. It then makes sense about how often we have cultured sides to some characters. Many of those interests become second careers. Of course, there would still be some mega-experts in fields that stay with one thing for a long time.
I'd almost say to take a look at how David Weber (who has life extension as a very common trope), treats it in his Honor Harrington books. Basically, smart societies push for changing out who's in office every few years. Also second careers are encouraged. With respect to Vulcans, I would not be surprised that societal…
Having just finished it, I enjoyed seasons three and four the most. The finale, though, I didn't enjoy. It just seemed, really out of place, and too much going back. If they wanted to include Riker and Troi, perhaps a reference to the movies would have been better. But what really killed it was Trek Fatigue. There was a…
