I've got an afinity for oddball ships, so I'd kind of like to see the Niagara class some time. I don't expect to though.

Well they also had the Defiant, Voyager and Discovery. So I think it was more a lineup of hero ships from the various shows, rather than just Enterprises.

I've been playing a bit of TABS lately, I'm planning on naming my BC the Fan Bearer because that's what it reminds me of most atm! LOL It just occured to me that another reason they didn't want to do an ovoid saucer on this ship was to prevent it looking like USS Yeager v2.0

I think the trait looks like it should be useful, so it'll at least be worth getting for that. As others have said it would have worked better with a more tapered ovoid saucer. Gorn seem slow and dumb on Klingon ships, Or when attacking federation ships/colonies cos the evironment is too cold. heat it up by about 15-20 degrees they get a lot faster, and smarter. I'm not really sure what the point of a T1 ship would be when the KDF storyline starts at tier 3. You can't even buy ships from tier 1 or 2 any more, not that that there was ever any point in doing so even when it was doable.

There's a lot of scale issues. Planets are too small, shuttlecraft and fighters are too large, as are most space stations. Anyone else wondering how the heck a ship closer in size to the Galaxy class than the Excelsior class it replaced has 50 FEWER crew than the old Excelsior? Either they're packed in like sardines in the old Excelsior, or Ambassadors must feel like ghost ships outside of the Bridge and engineering. :P
