I spoke to Hertzler at a convention a few years ago about Martok in STO. He was none too please to learn his character was "killed". Extremely pleasant individual to talk with. Got a picture with him in Martok make up with Gowron.
Just keep in mind, it's all about how they can monetize the hell out of this game. They just screwed over the Neverwinter community on XBox and are getting ready do the same thing to the PC community tomorrow.
I can remember a time when they were making the claim that they wanted to keep the t5 ships relevant, which is why we got t5-u, for all the players that had spent so much time and money on t5 ships. Yet here we are with t6 for almost every t5 out there thus making t5-u completely irrelevant.
There is not even 300 ships per faction. Why would you ever need that many for dry dock? This only has one useful purpose and that's banking ships that are non reclaimable.
hmm, Pay 2 Win Over Priced Perfect Scam (Perfect World's true name) No Winning Cheating Players Only (since we were called cheaters in the past) Could go on and on
So sad they feel they have to try to rig their numbers so they can say people are playing specific content. Won't accept the fact that there is much that is not being played nor is there any interest for some that is not played. Gotta make people believe that there is not currently a large unsatisfied customer base.
Not necessarily every week, but this is the beginning of them taking advantage of their boff skills revamp so they could monetize more of the game. There will be more to be sure.
I will agree on this. Do the Scotty method. Over estimate so you always finish before the estimated time elapses. Makes the average player base praise you more.
A company will perform its function during their normal business hours. Why would they alter that? Release the patch during the morning business hours so that they have the rest of the day's business hours to work on any new issues that said patch may have caused or missed.
Maintenance is about 95% of the time on Thursdays. This week had a major update to the game on a Tuesday. Most big releases have a few daily maintenance after to fix all the new bugs that pop up. This is normal.
Absolutely this. Don't need another half a faction. A new faction needs to be complete experience that is not influenced in any way by the existing factions.
