Update: We have tracked down what we think caused this (an issue with a bad binary file build for certain maps) and are testing some possible fixes internally. Keep your fingers (and tentacles) crossed.
Thanks for this report. The targeting logic on this console is actually fiendishly complex, due to how it works under the hood. I've done a bunch of testing of a tweak that should hopefully handle this, it'll go through our test team and with any luck be in an upcoming patch. (Keep an eye on patch notes!)
You can still drag-and-drop the power into a key slot in your power tray. It just defaults to appearing in a special tray element now. This means that you no longer have to go through the tedious process of equipping a Remodulator item on all of your BOFFs. Characters have access to basic remodulation functionality without…
Defera crafting will remain turned off. The ability to make Fractal Remodulators is moving into the R&D interface, as noted in the article. The Omega reputation ability to reduce the speed of Borg adaptation remains unchanged.
• Resolved an issue that prevented engineers who were Romulan, Dominion, Discovery, or TOS captains from using the console necessary to complete the accolade, "Facility 4028" accolade "Hologram Master". I discovered an issue that caused this fix not to function, and have replicated the work to try to send the fix through…
"Melting Pot" had old data related to when it was a feature episode, which didn't get updated correctly; a patch for this is coming in. Once it's in it will appear again in the journal and you will be able to progress through it or skip it.
What I love about running the U.S.S. Pathfinder game is that I get to use things that I also work on in STO. I get to play STO at home, work on it during the day, and use its stories and content to help craft the material that then shows up in the tabletop game where I get to have a good time with my co-workers,…
To be clear, endeavors are on a per-account basis. Once you finish a given endeavor it's done for your account. At this time the rewards are non-unique items - you will get a mix of various rewards like marks and energy credits. Ultimately this means it's up to you to decide whether a given endeavor is something that…
This is incorrect. You'll note that refining a better part updates the quality of parts on your tracker on the side of the screen. The icon values are simply tracking how many parts you've gotten - it's possible that it's a mislabeled icon, but that's all. Getting better stabilizers means your rocket flies up at a better…
The only way the modifier is affected is by the quality of the parts themselves (which you can see on the tracker on the right side). The icons are not relevant.
Here's how it works: * The height measurement is tracking an entity's value in meters above ground. * That entity is a flying entity, with its path information set as follows: * It has a base speed, which is increased by the value of the Engines of its associated player. * It lasts for a certain amount of time, which is…
There are non-obvious legacy data reasons for this. Not to mention that it would be tedious to write all-new text for every sector, and impossible to get additional VO for every sector in the game.
Essentially, the very rare/purple and common/white ones do not interact in any way. If you have Dipomacy/Marauding 4, you can have one very rare/purple exchange/renegade BOFF. You can replace that BOFF. If you never claimed one, you can claim one. Whether you have old common/white ones is immaterial and has no effect on…
I rewrote the mission rewards so that for missions that gave duty officer rewards on first playthrough, if you replay the mission and you don't have the DOFF, you get a new one.
Our thought is that the process of converting over to the Enterprise as the "official" symbol of Starfleet is in-progress during the events of Agents of Yesterday. Also, from a fiction/art perspective, the Enterprise chevron is just far more recognizable than the starbase operations starburst, so it creates a much stronger…
The voice actress for Kuumaarke is Kipleigh Brown, who also played crewman 2nd class Jane Taylor in the Enterprise episode "The Forgotten." She was very professional and very enthusiastic, and we were super-glad we got to work with her and give her an engaging role!
Here is what I posted there: "So this one is interesting. What happened is that when these were initially set up, they were set up in a way that DOFF assignments were not supposed to be built, but which worked because of a bug that didn't stop them from appearing. Then that bug was fixed and they stopped appearing because…
To clear up some misconceptions: * You can replay the mission to look for the probe. * When you beam down to the planet, the probe's location is chosen randomly. If you leave and come back it may be somewhere else. * It's not "bugged" if it doesn't appear near the beam-down site. It just spawned in a different location. *…
Content designers generally implement missions. Our writer, Paul Reed, focuses on much of the story and dialog. Content designers do tasks like making puzzles, figuring out the pacing of a mission, working with an environment artist to lay out the map with an eye to the mission's "flow," setting up the encounters, and…
