UPDATE: STO killed my windows 10. I had to reinstall my whole system because of STO. I did, now the download worked, but the game crashes after character select. It loads and then I get a black screen... No words, Cryptic. No words...

Why do I get the message that my graphics card won't be supported after 2017 March 1.? This wine wrapper uses X11. I shouldn't get the message... Am I wrong? It will still work after March 1.?

Wine Wrapper is Windows XP based? So the doh123 created wrapper which Mac Players use, will be unusable after march 1. 2017? Is it possible to update the wine wrapper? Anybody knows?

I updated my OS to El Capitan and the wine wrapper version of STO isn't working anymore. The app (STO wine) freezes at launch (doesn't open any windows, just jumps one time in the app bar in the bottom). Any ideas? I fixed the problem. You have to update the wrapper engine. Go to your system preferences, in the security & privacy section go to the and "allow applications downloaded from:" => anywhere. If you don't do that, it won't work.

I know that if you pick the Hong Kong server, the data flow from China to Hong Kong is in fact fast (but i got a very high ping to Hong Kong don't really know why thats not good for a game). What about getting us some R&D experience points for every DOFF mission completed? Of course in that specific field. Then the 20h thing wouldn't kill the hole R&D. Think about it .

I solved the problem for me. Maybe it will for smby else too: i connected to the EU proxy (I'm located in east EU) and i deleted the cache files. Seems i had some old map-info in my cache. Everything fine now. Greets

Sorry to say, but I'm OK with the possible customisation of the ships. It's Star Trek and it should be Star Trek. I think the momentary Risian Luxury Cruiser is an attempt and it FAILED. Hello. I just want to make it clear, that when i posted the idea, i didn't want to make a torpedo boat or a DPS ship out of the intrepid. I just had an idea to upgrade the Ablative armor generator. Thats all. Upgraded torpedoes while Abl. Armor is active. Thats all :D

Yes. They should do something to the older ship versions. Intrepid, Nebula, Excelsior. They could revamp them, give them new console abilities or upgrade the consoles with additional powers (intrepid: ablative generator => massive additional torpedo damage while generator is active) or something like that.
