please lower the battery droprate?

sabouma1979sabouma1979 Member Posts: 171 Arc User
I returned to STO a few days ago, but during my missions I noticed an overwhelming amount of dropped batteries (engine, weapons, shield)

Could this be lowered please? It's kinda ridiculous....

All your batteries is mine. I'll be happy to take them off your hands. I go through the dang things like Tic-Tacs. Specifically, large weapon batteries please.

Actually, learn how to use them. They can be quite helpful.

    Yup, pretty much that.

I was actually laughing about this recently, when I got somewhere around 10 engine batteries in a row during a mission. You'd think Mr RNG could at least mix up the battery type a little. I figured Donny's Discount Battery Emporium must have been running a sale on Engine batteries.

They come in handy at times, however I got a lot of them in the bank on each ship as well. So now I'm selling them for some kind of $.

Some ships I use them a good bit, some I don't even touch them. Now the personal stuff like shields and health. I use them often.

    my complaint :)

it would be nice if the battery stacked from 20 to 99 or 999 in inventory or ship device slot.

All of STO's loot is junk loot.

Seriously, I don't know if anything is worth picking up anymore.

That's pretty much everyone's complaint. But as long as they continue to squeeze every cent out of us for slots and items, we'll never see stacking like that in our life time...

I kinda like not needing to buy batteries. No, do not reduce battery drop rate.

I find this line of replies sadly hilarious. We put a lot of work into the massive list of fixes/changes above, and ya'll are hung up on the ability to skip our content. =p

The loot tables have been nerfed so many times it's not funny.

Someone of PWE, whoes name I shall not mention, claimed recently that this wasn't true and that the loot tables were still as they were. I got a severe warning when I pointed out that the person was talking bollocks. Seems now that I am not the only one that is noticing this.

To be honest, walking out of a fleet starbase defense with only 2 batteries and a lockbox, while you nearly humiliated the enemie, isn't a reward, but an insult. By the way, you want us to use resources under the form of EC's, dilithium and so on to progress in reputation systems, eventually my guess in the crafting, then provide us with those resources aka valuable loot.

It was the Duracell bunny first.

The Duracell Bunny campaign was launched in 1973, the Energizer Bunny campaign was launched in 1989 to parody the Duracell Bunny.

I'd rather have the Mk XI green engines/deflector/etc...

I can sell them for ECs then use those ECs to buy batteries and still have ECs left over.

Though it would be nice if the battery stack was increased; 20 is just a bit low. I could live with 40.

    Ship batteries I'm fine with.

Small hypos, medium hypos, large hypos, small power cells, medium power cells, large power cells, etc. would be much more convenient if there was just one size like the ship consumables.
