Here if you're too busy ranting to look it up.

While the team continues to investigate, they have worked with the Tech Support team to create this support article: https://support.perfectworld.com/app...id/4287/kw/STO

Please take a look at it when you can, as well at the suggested solutions provided (especially re: updating your drivers). If the issue is still outstanding, please do make sure to file a Tech Support ticket here, using the "Tech Support" category, and include as many details about your system as possible: https://support.perfectworld.com/app/ask

And I'm sure you tried all the steps listed in Post#107? instead of just ranting about poor service/surface/servoce.

    *Begin Sarcasm*

No, I didn't ever try those suggestions.

    *End Sarcasm*

Strange to believe even trying their "tips" which are the only thing they ever have offered, without any new information, didn't work. Yet, I also know it isn't my PC as until the 10-3-13 patch it loaded just find. I'll admit that there was some lag now and then, but then again I don't have the high dollar internet. I have, before the patch, in the hour or so between classes played and have no single lag issue as the wifi at the college is more than a match for my homer personal internet. Strange to think between classes today, I was still crashing on the loading screen.

An error in the code or a server and ASAP. They have in fact said they. It is stupid to give out an exact time as they probably do not have one and even if they did it would cause people like you to rage more because they did not get it done on that date.

Do you have anything else to do beside this? Perhaps school or work? Perhaps go out with some friends or family? Maybe even enjoy a walk outside?

At the moment, no. I finished my classes already and the weather is crappy, I don't enjoy the cold. Most of the people I know are at work themselves. I primarily work graveyard shift, so this is usually about the one escape I have.

That is all they have provided, in all of their posts. There hasn't been anything new, which is all I ask for. Which they won't provide.

Have you attempted to close and open the program again? How about restarting your computer and monitor?

No, I never once restarted the program to see if that worked. Restart my laptop? Why would I ever want to do that?

    *End Sarcasm*

If it were on my end it would be one thing. It's not, it's due to the 10-3-2013 patch.

We do not know that for sure. If you could restart your computer and monitor we will know if that helps. If not I recommend running your anti virus to see if that picks up anything.

They aren't providing an update because they probably don't HAVE one. They are likely still tracking down the issue, and it's probably tough to find because at least part of the problem does, in fact, lay with your system. The patch is working fine for the vast majority of players, which means they have to figure out what it is about the patch that your specific configuration doesn't like, and moreover they have to do it from your reports of what's happening, without direct access to your hardware. It's not easy, and you screaming about it won't make it easier or faster.

I have restarted my laptop the two days continuously, because at first I did think it was my laptop (How I've been proven wrong). Viruses, I'm not concerned about when I lent my old laptop to someone and they managed to get viruses onto it. Since then I run my anti-virus daily before I head of to work.

Ever try and change a car tire while it DRIVING down freeway. same thing

Obviously you stop the car and then change the tire.
Any half competent programmer would keep the program executable code separate from the user data files. The data should be in a database. When you change program code, you are not required to change the database, which is where all the user inventory, exchange data, EC/dilithium counts should be stored in. All the user progress should be in a database which does not need to be changed, so the users don't lose anything. It's the executable code that caused the problem, not the user data.

To put it in your analogy, if all your money is stored in the trunk of the car, changing the tire won't make you lose all the money in the trunk of the car.

You seem to be working hard to blame the victims.

There's you problem, if you restart your computer CONTINUOUSLY, there isn't enough time for launcher to load before shut down...............

It's in their coding. If it was on my end (and the other various players with the same damned problem) we never would have been able to access in the past. Which is why the easiest solution is to roll back the patch and figure out what they screwed up, but no one ever gives a damn about minorities.

I'm a victim too. Should be and actually "are" are two different things. In a perfect world they would be separate. However it appears that this is not

There is no race card. Have they shown any reason to believe their working on the solution? No! Have they shown any reason to want to take money and not offer anything? Yes!

yes im mad that i havent been playing for the 5th day today, but hey I can live with it as long as they come out with a solution to this problem. Yes all 5 of my Chars are missing out on daily dilithium and the Crystal Shards but what can I do about it.

Just came back from best buy the type of graphics card they suggest for the game would cost anywhere between 100 - 200 dollars and no way im spending that much money, as this is the only game I play. The cheapest that might get me to play would run me about $65 plus another $50 for the installation.

I do hope that they come out with a solution to this, and yes its the patch that came out on thursday as up to an hour before they took servers down I was playing perfectly. All the solutions provided don't do anything for me.

I submitted a ticket on friday but have not gotten any response from my ticket. I proactively went and looked at other solutions on that link they have also saw solutions for other games but since they didn't apply to this game couldn't try them.

If it comes down to the worse case I will see if I can get that cheat graphics card and have it installed and see but that would already be several days if not maybe a bit over a week of not playing as i would have to wait till i had the money to buy it. but even before that Im already going to be charged for this months gold sub account.

Effected means executed, produced, or brought about. For example, The dictatorial regime quickly effected changes to the constitution that restricted the freedom of the people. On the other hand, affected means impacted. It is the past tense of the verb form of affect means to impact. For example, Carbon dioxide emissions affected the environment.
