I'd hate it if RP prices remain the same, which is unlikely to happen with the level increase and the new refining stones. Current mobs drop rank 4 enchantments and dragon hoard enchantments provide black opal as best stone possible. At level 70 I hope they make rank 5-7 a normal drop from enemies.
The thing is, there's a lot of PvE content (as good or bad as it is) that's designed to be played with level 60: 17 Epic dungeons (t1 x 5, t2 x 6, t2.5 x 3, t3 x 1 and 2 gauntlgrym dungeons), 4 skirmishes, 6 campaign zones, the whole gauntlgrym thing and the Tiamat fight. This makes me wonder... how much are they planning…
On the other hand, I do have the feeling that they're aiming for mod6 to be a really big thing. I'm guessing it's impact will probably decide if the game continues to live or it's the fatality that finishes this project. I hope they don't make more mistakes and bring the fun back to Neverwinter.
This last mod has been the reason why A LOT of people I know have left the game. We still have to wait for any release info and as we wait, more players will keep leaving since there's almost nothing else to do online. Moderators will probable erase my comment but as players, the feeling that me and a considerable amount…
I was just trying to make emphasis (not in a great way I admit) in our lack of damage besides roots. Archery receives about 60% bonus to ranged attacks + crit and power buffs, and Combat has about 40% damage bonus with PB + Flurry. Root damage is needed since our encounters suck for dealing direct damage. I agree that…
For PvP I go Hindering, Fox, Constricting, Serpent and Lone Wolf, for PvE I swap Fox for RoA and Lone Wolf for Pack.´ Seismic is needed with all the AP Gain from Master Trapper and if you really need it you can also slot Forest Ghost for some breathing room, and also Disruptive is awesome in PvP. Avoid wasting serpent…
Yeah, roots are OP, especially because Trapper HRs have all those burst attacks that they already use to kill you such as Hawk shot or Rain of arrows and the highest survability in the game... ... not.
Trapper is just so fun, in both PvE and PvP. I missed stance switching, cooldown reductions and fast-paced gameplay HRs used to have in mod 2 and now it's back. I really hope they don't take this away from us.
Trapper HR is (according to my own experience) probably the best AoE damage dealer in the game only next to some Fury warlocks thanks to those beautiful DoTs that come from Thorned/Ancient Roots. My 18k HR can even out damage CWs in CN, and my stats aren't amazingly distributed. Also, as I already stated before, it's…
I've been playing as a Trapper since mod5, and I'm doing really good in both PvE and PvP. I figure I would be less squishy if I picked Combat but in terms of damage and CC I'm able to handle almost anyone at my gear score bracket and some people that over gear me for a couple of thousands (depends on classes, HRs are…
Stucked with a video recorded and posted months ago to keep claiming that an unreliable dodge is broken... There's no one complaining about HRs "immunity" from dodges besides you. And to make things worse, they are supposed to avoid damage and CC, HR in that video takes damage when he shouldn't, so you shouldn't even be…
My apologies, indeed Saboteurs are the OP ones, the other two paths are just very strong. But I believe it's already understandable what I meant, when people complained about HRs everybody knew they were talking about Combat.
Well IV Sentinel back in mod2 felt like a force of nature, nothing to do against it. Still, I have the feeling that Pathfinder HR with profound set at mod3 could be able to 1v1 it forever, with both of them healing until the end of times...
PvE HR has it's weakness and annoyances but overall it's pretty strong. It is tied with warlock at best single target damage (probably better if target remains static and eats full RoA) and can deal good AoE. I think it needs some QoL improvements but it's not that bad.
Each time I get a new alt up to level 60, I buy him some rings/necklace/belt, enchants r6-7, a lesser soulforged and let them get the rest all by themselves.
