When making this kind of things it'd be better if they made Archery HR and Combat HR into 2 different options, as well as "Intimidation" and GWF, cause realities are soooo different for those. But with current options, I'd rank SW as the worst class atm. GWF is in a poor spot in PvE but PvP wise you can't just consider it…
Yes, GWF needs to get up lots of stacks, but still, there isn't much you can do to make it work any other way. To gain stacks you have to attack and nothing more. It's tedious as hell but they are not the reason why playing a GWF is complicated. I do believe PvE GWF requires skill/knowledge to perform at best but it's more…
This post compiles what a lot of archery rangers feel when doing dungeons: RoA missing because of constant FLS, OF spamming by 3 wizards with DC artifact, SotEA, Sunburst, etc or CWs kiting them to make their damage as high as possible; StS being useless when most adds are under CC and Seismic Shot missing a lot when it…
Where the hell did you take that from? ****, talking to you is pointless now you're making things up. Who doesn't want to dodge bloodbath? If you dodge it, you keep up the fight until his DC artifact gives the TR another daily, if you don't dodge it, you lose but hey, it's not the daily + feat that is OP, it's just that…
Are you seriously comparing those powers? Ice knife and IBS are easier to avoid and don't 1-shot you from full health unless you got less than 30k and are bad geared, RoA hits you for 1 tick and you move away from it, Bloodbath can be used from stealth or with a dazed target AND 1-shots you with shadow opportunity so…
Thanks for bringing this thread back again, I was searching for it a while ago and couldn't find it to read about stats and abilities. I'm making myself a combat PvE SW and wanted to ask which ability scores should I aim besides Dex. Wasn't sure if wisdom was a good option since many things in this build aren't able to…
Prime Critical HRs with old Fox Shift, Marauder's and old Constricting Arrow were the best HRs. Not OP (unless you were a CW, but CW was weak to everyone back then), not weak, just ridiculously fun. And you actually had to move, avoid dying and hit instead of relying on stupid procs…
They did implemented Healing Depression in PvP to avoid making people overall immortal but it wasn't specifically designed because of clerics. In fact, I believe the biggest reason was Sentinel IV GWF rather than DCs. What people seems to be missing is that after that clerics overall suffered the most to keep being…
Tbh I've never seen a HR complain about TR's damage unless he was new to the game. Before the Fox Shift nerf it was an encounter directly designed to kill rogues and after that Piercing blade >>> ITC so I'm not sure where you take that from. The only players I've seen complain to the world's end about rogues are CWs, not…
More than the cleric's dodge itself, Smoke Bomb has a really slow activation time even after you cast it, it takes a moment to make effect. I'm able to avoid it with any class that can dodge.
You may be talking about balancing Gift of Fait. Basically what it does is store a part of each healing provided by the cleric and when you hit 45% HP, boom! It fills your HP. Regular healing is working nice and not OP but this feat seems to be a little too powerful.
1/4 of its power, lol. Ok, I had hope for a thread that asked for balance but it seems that you only want them nerfed to the ground again. Theses kind of suggestion not only would make them poor healers, but overall useless. Clerics should be able to make other classes survive on the battlefield and taking this away from…
Well I get the idea when you ask for them to not be able to make immortal everyone but also consider they need to fill the role of being good healers, so like a good CW should be able to kill anyone if coming as support, a good DC should be able to heal anyone if being support. So how would a "balanced" DC perform…
Hey I get the point of each thread after they made the one about DC's, but leave warlocks alone, poor guys don't hurt anyone and no one bothers with them.
I think it's pretty clear that Hellbringer is supposed to be the dps paragon path for this class so if you're planning to compare a survability focused path vs it, damage doesn't seem like the best criteria, imo.
Feedback: Soulbinder Paragon Path The mechanics of the new paragon path are really fun, I enjoy how it feels different from Hellbringer as a whole and congratulate the devs for the good work. Still, I believe some effects should be taken into consideration and buffed, cause IMHO this path is supposed to bring high…
