Have you read this? Gives a fairly brief and vague reason, but a reason none the less. But I'm sure you can have your own reasons! I know they don't have alignments and they don't let you choose evil gods, but I think it'd be cool to be an evil character hoping to further the influence of some evil organization by lending…
I think it would be understandable if they limited the whole mentoring thing to only bring people down in level. I can see a higher level helping out a lower level (after being brought down) but the idea of some level 6 halfling smacking a beholder with a stick strikes me as strange. Regardless, a mentoring system would be…
I was hoping they'd just make an alternate route that doesn't require lockpicking or whatever... Maybe make it take a bit longer? Oh course, I suppose that would take a while to do. Oh well. I won't let this ruin the game for me(I'll be playing in a group most of the time anyways). It'll still be fun!
Is this really a thing?! I admit, I've basically been a fanboy up to this point, but the idea of just anybody being able to do something that, to my very limited knowledge (I don't know that much about D&D rule, let alone 4e, please correct me if I'm wrong), is a class specific skill is horrifying. Part of the fun of…
I think my account name and forum handle are the same at the moment. I guess I'd just like to have my forum name changed if that's the one that will be seen in game and on these forums. How would I go about doing this, if at all?
I can understand where you're coming from. The fun of D&D is to be able to go on cooperative adventures. If everyone can solo pretty much everything (I understand that not everyone enjoys playing with others or even has anyone to play with) then where's the good old band of heroes come in? Sure, they can spawn more enemies…
I Do think that this is D&D, though one issue that could really stand in the way of that for me is the lack of character customization. That being said, I understand that they must make it cookiecutter for new players and all that jazz. I just hope that further character and class customization options will be included…
This would just about make the game for me. While I would still play it and like it if it didn't have it, I would just love it if I could still play with my brothers even after one of us has outleveled the others. Unfortunately, we can't always keep the same schedules.
I've heard that people who did not purchase a bundle will only have two character slots. Is this true? Is there any way to purchase more character slots without having to purchase the bundles?
