The pricing of the Founders pack seems to be related to 12 months of subscription fees in a subscription MMO. $15 per month for 12 months is $180, then they rounded up to $200 becuase lol greed. I think they would have sold many many more of these if they had brought the price down to $175, or even $199.
this is not a not-for-profit mmo dude. ftp does not mean no profit for the devs. they simply did not have their business model 100% nailed down in those videos, they were still thinking about it. if you think PWE had no input on said model, you are fooling yourself. yay china, ruining my D&D.
so the moral of the story is, you need to have your own healing pots, they are cheap since gold is useless for anything else besides kits. if you don't know where to buy them, please don't queue for dungeons.
yes but kickstarter is bad for the people kickstarting because they aren't really investing in endeavors, and instead giving out money for stupid perks. it's a fiasco really.
commercial video games have always been a product that is expected to produce a profit. if there is no money in making video games, guess what, no video games worth your time will be made.
I'm also not quitting because I was not really affected by this glitch. I had a family thing to do this weekend, so I was surprised to return Sunday evening not being able to log in. The last time I played the game I had fun, so I'm not stopping.
the leveling experience is fantastic, one of the best in any mmo i have ever played. pvp is fun and exciting when both teams are trying, and not just afk glory farming. there are things you would expect in a D&D game. there is a goldshire-type RP area called the Moonstone Mask which has an entertaining zone chat. the group…
Take a look at how SWTOR does companions. That is how you do companions in an MMO. Making us pay Zen or ADs so we can get a tank, healer and dps with fail AI is ridiculous.
go into the enchant item screen and right click on the rune that is in the socket, it will ask you if you want to pay the AD fee. If you're leveling, I advise against this, just vendor the item.
Founders will be invested in the game, some won't but Crytpic already has their money. Rolling alts should be fun, as leveling in this game is probably the best time I've had leveling in an MMO, outside of GW2. They seem to have plans on adding stuff to the game well into the future, so I wouldn't worry about running out…
well, if you haven't read this thread, I highly recommend it: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?161081-Pro-Tips-on-Diagnosing-Lag-and-Rubberbanding And yes, I agree some goblins can be cute, and they are certainly cuter in some other games...
I've only heard negative things about people playing in Europe regarding their connection to the Neverwinter servers. Sorry, until they figure something out you might have to deal with it. Have you put in a ticket?
