  • Yeah. Sounds exactly like what I did. Though honestly, It confuses me more. From the sound of it, you get to keep the transponder, so are recognized as a Delta Recruit, but at the same time, the poster makes it clear, you might not stay as a Delta Recruit. It is beginning to sound like I need to take the chance of…
  • Currently yes, I have it in my inventory. I think it might be that I never actually completed the Delta Recruitment Mission. I got as far as actually getting the transponder in my inventory, but then logged out. So I am still on the "Delta Recruitment" mission with the next objective being "head to the Festival".
  • All Dominon Ships might be an exaggeration. It was made clear in the series, Jem'hadar need a Vorta overseer and can't be long away from them (if for the Ketresal white if nothing else). That said, While I don't know that there has ever been SHOWN a ship with all Jem'hadar, it has been strongly implied that at times there…
  • It is part of the opening cinematic on the fed side. and apparently was also used in the trailer for the 2800 arc.
  • the Tac/Sci/Engineer thing really only applies to Starfleet. But yeah. Jem'hadar are strictly Foot Soldiers. They don't really work as an Engineer or Science Officer. I think this is probably going to be one of those "head canon" things, where the game says you are a "science Officer" because mechanics are that way. But in…
  • In all fairness, Even though I would love it, I doubt we will get a playable Changeling. The "locked in solid Form" isn't really an issue, as even the blog shows, Founders can assume a solid form for quite some time if it suits them. The problem is that the Dominion is very stratified. A Jem'Hadar or Vorta would NEVER…
  • Lets be honest, I don't think it takes much to make her paranoid. I mean if you think about it, while the losses from the blog are quite large (I think they stated only 3/5 ships sent make it back), They are still getting a majority of their ships back from every confrontation. For a culture that is known to destroy…
  • My guess, is it is like many of the transition episodes, not much detail/story just meant to get you from point A to Point B. So probably not many if any accolades to worry about. Sounds like it is basically the Dominion's version of the anniversary episode. Which will see the Dominion join the Battle of DS9 to help the…
  • In all likelihood, if they went for the battlecruiser, you would get a free t5, which may or may not be horrible. But there would be a C-store variation, which hopefully would not be horrible. Whatever they have for the starter ship, I highly doubt they would have it be a T6 ship, so there is always a possibility of a…
  • Honestly, I have been wondering about the battlecruiser. The Vanguard ship, or whatever it is called clearly has some elements borrowed from the Battlecruiser, but it is not 100% accurate. At least not as we have seen. I was geniunely wondering if it was suppose to be the battlecruiser, or if we will ever get the battle…
  • Well, keep in mind there is no confirmation one way or another that there will be one (admittedly it is more likely then not, just saying we have heard literally NOTHING on it). Regardless, I am sure the team will have it worked out.
  • I don't think it is as complicated as you are making it. From my experience in the current rerun of the event, for instance, I don't believe AoY/ToS toons can be Delta recruits. So presumably the same would be true of Dominion players. Especially since lorewise in game, the Iconian War is over with by the time the Dominion…
  • As I understand it, He is similar to the Joined vs Unjoined Trill. They are visually the same, but there are some stats in the Vanguard that are a little bit better then the standard Jem'hadar. Would be nice if I dev could verify it though.
  • Well, Dictator might be a stretch. We will see. But I did find the whole "Odo's Vanguard" thing weird. Since he never really liked the whole Genetically engineered aspect of either the Vorta or Jem'Hadar.
  • So, sorry if this has already been asked, but Visually is there any difference between the Jem'Hadar Vanguard and Jem'Hadar Warrior species? Or is it like the Joined/unjoined Trill, where visually they are the same but with different racial traits?
  • Given that the Cardassians are not a seperate Faction, like the romulans, my guess is No. You are just making another KDF/Starfleet character, so you will be using their tutorials. It is just that now, you can make a Cardassian.
  • Will we be getting the Cardassian uniforms? That is really my only concern. After that, I am cool with Playable Cardassians being allied with Fed/KDF. Admittedly, I would have rather had a Cardassian Union faction, but I can live without it, if I get their uniforms for my Cardassian.
  • Ok, Totally Hyped for Weyoun's return. I can't wait to see Jeffrey Combs do what he does best and give us the best Vorta in all the Dominion.
  • While it was strongly implied that Dukat was not dead. It was also stated that Dukat, along with the Pah-Wraiths, were locked behind "a door that can never be opened". I do not think we are getting Dukat back. Likewise, the announcement makes it sound like "new" voice actors (meaning not in the game already) for the 10. So…
  • Which again, I ask (and someone else too) Why? What is the point of getting a T5 ship that is inferior to the T6 version you just got? I am seriously curious, because I don't understand why you need the physical ship, when you get the skin for the T6 version and the T6 is suppose to be superior.
  • Actually, if I understand copyright correctly, CBS does NOT own any STO designs. All Original designs in the game are owned by Cryptic, since they are the ones that created them. Same with any other licensed star trek property. It is the sole ownership of the creator. That is why, as someone else mentioned, it was so long…
  • Here is the thing with the OG lockbox ships, all of those were taken out to replace with a T6 version, and the original skins (that you got from the T5 versions) are, if I understand correctly, are unlocked with the T6 versions. So before I support adding something like that back in, you would need to convince me there is…
  • They have not said what is or isn't one of the 20. Only That they are the most popular ones.
  • My guess (which means yes, I am just grasping at straws) is it has to do with how Mixed Dimensions gets the info for the ships. While keep in mind they did say NO account information would be transferred/accessible by Mixed Dimensions, The system by nature requires the game to share info with MD. From other games I play,…
  • I am going to go with no. granted it has been a while, so I am not sure how hard the borg really are in-game. But much of what it sounds like you are suggesting is either impractical (as in it would probably require a complete retooling of how the game works) or would just make the Borg insane to fight. Challenge is fine,…
  • honestly, I can see them being about 1:250, keep in mind even that number is more anecdotal. Anyways, from my experience on the normal lockboxes, 400-500 boxes seems to be about when I would hit the big prize, so seems to be about the same with the Phoenix boxes
  • I want you to flip a coin and tell me how long you can go without getting tails. That is why something is called statistically impossible. Because while it might technically be possible, the factors and odds in such an event happening is so slight, that it might as well be impossible. If you can't get the grand prize with…
  • Is it really 5,000 boxes? Not really doubting your math. Just saying, that is a lot. Anyways, my whole point was, it is to get past something like 5,000 boxes and still not get the grand prize is statistically impossible. At a certain point, you HAVE to win. Otherwise there is something seriously wrong going on. Because…
  • As stated: Yes, technically the odds are always 1/250. But the way statistics works, eventually you have to get to the "true probably" the more you get. So yes, after opening so many boxes (and I have no clue what the number is) you HAVE to eventually get the top prize, and it isn't going to be some number like 1 million…
