Just an image for context - Drones and Tactical flyers both under the effects of Fire at Will against multiple targets. The Drones are only attacking the primary target whereas the flyers are shooting everything in range.
I understood it fine. 3 New consoles. Only 1 of them can be equipped at any given time. Old consoles can still be used on their equivalent T6 versions. Pretty clear indication there'll be a new 4-piece bonus.
From what I've gathered, it'll be a 4-set piece total. The 3 old ones plus 1 of the new ones, as they've stated that you may only equip one of the 3 new consoles at any one time. What the real question is, will the 4-piece bonus be the same regardless of which console you pick, or will it be dependent on the kind of…
Reading the blog, it gives the impression only one of the 3 consoles can be equipped at any one time. Figure it'd be a 4-set piece bonus when the 'old' 3 consoles are equipped alongside it. Hopefully it won't just be a +% passive.
They aren't going to tweak existing content for free just to please a very, very select few. However, since my points are, apparently, completely invalid, then you go carry on campaigning.
As much as we'd like that, Taco has already stated that it takes too much time & manpower to do considering how much profit would actually be earned from it (very little, as bridges don't sell well compared to other things). Plus, some interiors are designed to be unique to certain NPC ships and aren't intended to be…
You have to admit, though, a T6 version with a commander tactical/intel seating would sell like hotcakes. As in all fairness, some of the intel abilities would make the performance feel like the original Scimitar did in the movie.
I'm pretty happy with the new materials overall. Though was, too, surprised the lockbox ships had new skins. I'm particularly happy with the Breen one - especially with the possibility of getting the sarr theln during the winter event (possible), as that'll be the closest thing to a PK Command Carrier I can get, visually…
What the more interesting picture is, it'll mean T5 level mirror ships are a possibility - Odessy/Bortasqu/Scimitar mirror skins at long last! (Hopefully).
Now it's happened, I can gaurantee you that the valdore console will be in a future one, and it'll be the most sought-after item on the exchange. It's just a matter of when.
Huh, the xindi traits getting scaled back a tad? Hardley surprising tbh, even I noticed a fair bit of difference in the usual runs. Still worth having 'em though.
What *is* annoying is having two scimitars, going opposite directions (more or less) and having the tips of the wings snag, causing the two of you to lock up and dance around on the spot. Actually, no, that still is amusing when it happens.
Thing is, as far as missions like STF's are concerned, the turn-rate isn't really an issue for cannon-based 'big' ships so long as you know where you should be positioned. If you want to add a bit more oomph to the turn rate, I'd swap out a flow cap for the tachyokinetic console (or a RCS on a engineer slot, & swap some…
