  • Oh boy, I sure do hope I get the chance to win the #DeltaRising operations pack! Either way, I'll keep playing, 'cuz I love me some Star Trek.
  • The phoenix is sometimes referred to as a firebird, so maybe the translation of firebird would correspond to phoenix? Of course, I guess it's possible that Alth'Indor is a translation of firebird, in which case I'll be quiet.
  • So, I'm wondering because nobody's let us know yet - is this everything going to the dogs, and the whole game will be dead by tuesday, or is it the decadence and stagnation of an arrogant empire, too bloated and sprawling to hold itself together, due to tear itself apart in civil war by wednesday? Hey, you think you're…
  • If you combine the radiation reports with the Tau Dewa patrol, you get around 90 marks per day - 60 for the patrol, I think the radiation report mission gives 10 (possibly 20? not sure), 300 radiation reports gives 30, and it takes a little more than one run of the report missions to reach 300.
  • The Sword of the Raptor Star. A artefact of legend!
  • -R'Mor Temporal science ship available in the lobi store... or a free ec cap boost. -The ability to claim the consoles from owned tier 5 c-store ships from our allied faction.(-The ability to claim said owned tier 5 c-store ships from our allied faction.) -Greater variety of available outfits, including reputation outfits…
  • It's where you pluck the sun out of the sky an hour early each day for a while and put it in your piggy bank. It's a pretty good way to research nuclear fusion, actually.
  • The ability to use our allies' T5 ships would be nice, or co-designed hybrid ships at that level. I wouldn't mind the option of giving up the singularity abilities for greater power distribution flexibility, but without having to ditch the battle cloak, and I'd like that to be a viable option after lvl 40. The ability to…
  • Worf drinks prune juice... that's practically vegan by Klingon standards!
  • So, I don't want to say that having to restart the client isn't an important issue, because clearly it is, but I know I've never had it (is this the graphics bug that a few people keep talking about?) and I haven't heard many people talk about it. As far as I'm aware, most people aren't having that issue, which means it's…
  • That would have to bruise their egos... "Yesterday, I was the second most powerful person on the ship. The captain spoke, and I made the whole ship operate according to their whims... now I`m correlating migration paths in the Xeltyc expanse!" Burn.
  • I think it would be better if the option was there, and that might've been a better way to determine whether you had ties to the Federation or Klingons, but I'm glad that we're able to have Republic characters. Partly because I like the idea of the Romulan people having some control over their lives, but mostly because my…
  • True, in Vulcan's Heart, it's stated that the Tal Shiar are a replacement for the old, "corrupt and cruel" intelligence forces, so there definitely was a government-backed intelligence force before then, but I was thinking of the Tal Shiar themselves predating that event, just without government ties. I don't think the…
  • Would you accept that it's possible for an organisation to exist without being an official government-backed organisation? I haven't read Kobayashi Maru, so I don't know if it's made explicit that they're a part of the RSE's power structure, or if their status is mentioned at all, but I do know that similar organisations…
  • How often do those "real" patches come out? In my experience there's usually been several months between them, they're not much more impressive than these ones (scaling for time) and they're dealing with a stationary target, except for when one expansion comes out two years later. Where do you guys get the idea that…
  • Maybe I've been spending too much time among our Vulcan cousins, but I see no logic in a return to the old ways. When a methodology has been revealed as faulty, it should be abandoned. Lies and treachery, schemes in the shadows; these are the behaviours that brought our race to its knees. Shinzon and Tal'Aura shattered the…
  • I think you share the queues of your allied faction... not completely sure, but I think you do. Romulans are pretty easy to level anyway - I was 45 by the time I started the Spectres episode.
  • I'd really like access to the top tier ships of our allied faction. My Reunificationist wants to fly into battle in a cloaked Defiant class escort... she'd also like pips for her Fed-style uniform, because she doesn't have the shoulders to pull off those pauldrons, but that's a different discussion. If not that, then…
  • Brilliant, thanks for the info. I guess it's time to figure out which sets best complement my squad then. To the wikicopter!! :D
  • You and I? We should form an alliance! The Preorder... Pirates? Hmm, no. The 'Onourable Organisation Of Oldies! We could campaign for the recognition of our status as antediluvian STO gamers (I'm sure there's something to compare to a flood at some point over the past four years) and smile knowing as the noobs complain…
  • Oh, Eve really isn't that bad. The game itself is quite beautiful. I think I'd like it if it was single player.
  • I thought Trapped was fixed? Mine Enemy too? They've worked perfectly for me the last few times I've played them. I can't help but agree about the ground combat behaviour though, especially with melee-equipped officers. Oh, yeah, but speak for yourself - YOU're not happy, some others are not happy. Personally, I think it…
  • *cough*this is the Star Trek Online forum*cough* *cough*it's entirely possible that I'm making a nerd joke rather than being a conspiracy theorist*cough*
  • Are you suggesting that he is being... influenced by alien forces?
