I second postagepaid's remarks about the differences. I only go to advanced because the price for elites is horrific.

Use the "figure of eight" attack type. Eg Hit, run fast past them, turn and do it again. Make sure when you are within weapons range you keep your speed up and only stay in range long enough to unload your weapons.

Am I the only one who has the hump about this. We had massive downtime last night. Sort it out!!

The most important thing they can do is sort out cloaking. Scanning and comms with allies should not bring the cloak down.

Glad to be feeling the love for this ship. She is available for peanuts on the exchange. Anyone who has never tried a carrier should give her a go. Not only does she look great she flies great as well.

She is a chuckle for a change. Most of my other toons fly the 31st C ships. The Carrier has a hull of 90k+, the frigates have a hull of 40K+. Good ships.

Should point out that I have the Chronos available. I just love this ship as a change.

It takes a couple of minutes a day to use Arc. For that you get free Zen. With enough games loaded you can earn more Zen per month than Lifetimers.

I use Arc every day for the quests. I then shut it down (plus the hidden icon) and fire up STO from the EXE file. If you have the disc space you can install several of the games and you will be making points every day. Remember, you only have to get to the launcher screen to get the points. I always carry a forward torpedo. Torp Spread can be a thing of beauty and it takes no power.

You do not need to encourage people who already spend. They are giving people a flavour of what they could get if they spend.

You don't have to play the games just start them. It is money for nothing.

I use Arc because of the Quests. If you have the disc space you can make Zen very quickly by loading some of the other games.

You need to buy a Fleet Impulse engine (strange but true). That and a decent warp allows you to do TW18 in sector travel and TW36 at slipstream.

I could win easily but the Eternal kicks some. GW3 + DRB3 + Causal Anchor = boom. I have upgunned the pets to advanced. They seem OKish.

I use a mix of Herald and vanilla APs on all my ships except my Galaxy X and my klingon tac that uses coalition disruptors.

OK, I hear you already. :) I will give the Eternal a spin. She does look like a big Wells. My play style is meat and potatoes. Cruisers broadside and my attack boat hits hard and runs. I do have a Rom Tac but he flies a Morrigu and takes lessons from no one. B)
