Xindi Aquatic Dreadnaught Carrier

I would just like to big it up for this ship.

I got it from a lock box and decided to give it a go. She is great. She turns well, is fast enough for me and has a decent hull. I like her on her own but the Frigate pets just seal the deal.

Whilst I am moving about, the Frigates continue to put damage on the opponent.

What are your thoughts?

Lol glad you like it. Back in the day. WAY back in the day.. i wanted a dkora and the narcine in game. So naturally im biased but eventually got both the day they dropped. It is a fun boat for sure. Just waiting for it to get the t6 treatment :)

Should point out that I have the Chronos available. I just love this ship as a change.

It's a nice ship, but the fighters are still broken. I wish they'd fix them and I would love to be able to land them for repairs.

I have no problem with repairs.

The frigates don't die real often :).

It's a great ship. Nimble, violent, great Boff seating. The only problem I've ever had with it is the Xindi lobi store set bonus that says "All Xindi ships get increased plasmaic biomatter blast radius" Seems to think the Narcine isn't a Xindi ship :frowning:.

    The T6 should be AMAZING.

Great ship indeed. Basically the only lobi/lb ship (of many I own) I've kept using - and keep returning to if I do change ships for a while.

Now... if we could get Xindi playable species too... :)

She is a chuckle for a change. Most of my other toons fly the 31st C ships.

The Carrier has a hull of 90k+, the frigates have a hull of 40K+. Good ships.

She was my first carrier. Her small craft spoiled me though.

Frigate pets are really good, but are still as dumb as a door nail, still don't listen to commands or follow you in full impulse..

Never flown one but just had one in my team at Tzenkethi Battlefront. That ship in that build seemed like an overperformer for sure.

Never flown one myself, but I have the Xindi-Primate Dread Cruiser and enjoyed flying her. When the Consoles get their own Xindi Box, we'll get a T6 makeover for the Aquatic and Reptilian ships.

The Narcine is a beautiful ship design, and a fantastic beast to behold in action. In my opinion, the ship as it stood was better than the JHDC at T5 (not discussing the pets, just the ship itself), because it could go Sci enough to Grav Well targets. It also has a very decent turnrate for a carrier. My KDF Tac runs exlusively Escorts/BoPs, but this ship almost pulled me out of those when it first dropped (if it wasn't so expensive at the time I'd have picked it up). Can't wait to see a T6 version.

I have a narcine on my KDF toon, and whilst I haven't used it in ages, (loving my fleet mat'ha cannonboat too much), its a great ship very comparable to the jem dread which I also own but a bit more nimble.
I keep thinking how I need to work out a better build for it, I'm using all phased biomatter but the mods suck in most cases. Elite frigates are great for it though.

Glad to be feeling the love for this ship. She is available for peanuts on the exchange.

Anyone who has never tried a carrier should give her a go. Not only does she look great she flies great as well.

I still have the narcine and the tal shiar destroyer in the bank. If T^ is around the corner should I open them or sell them?

Save them. Right now they're as cheap as they've ever been thanks to the infinity box. After they are rotated out of existence they become collectors items and should creep up somewhat. Same thing has happened with all the other upgrades to T6 - when supply equals ZERO of those items ever entering the game again, demand doesn't have to change for the value to go up.

I still main a Narcine on one of my chars. It's my favorite carrier so far, still, and I've had it since that lockbox was current. It's still the highest turning dual-hangar carrier out there, and the Universal Lt. Comm is fun to shove Sci abilities into, turns like a proper battle cruiser, and has a Commander Tac making it pretty fun. Only problem I had with it was it wasn't very durable at first, but with the defensive and cooldown powercreep, it's plenty tough now.

While the Tal Shair Adapted Destroyer and Battle Cruiser are getting the bump to T6 soon (likely next Infinity box PC side), Cryptic has been following the original T5 release decently closely (though, they've skipped the Ferengi entirely) which means the T6 Narcine could be a far ways off, seeing it as it was the final T5 lockbox ship (as a grandprize, anyway.) Though, I suppose the requests to bump it to T6 might potentially push it ahead in the queue a bit.

They really didn't skip the Ferengi, they just need to figure out how they can get the T6 Ferengi Nagus Marauder into the game. That is the direct replacement for the D'Kora. That ship, or should I say, a Gold Plated Latium version of it, was given out free to a number of players early last Summer. Needless to say the Forums burned.

Perhaps they can add that as an adjunct to another Lockbox/Lobi Store upgrade into the Infinity. Just add some Maurader/ Privateer Cadres and voila, you just took care of the Ferengi Lockbox as well.
