Spamming has been dealt with a number of ways. The volume of spam you receive in-game or by email is only a measure of the success in dealing with it.

All of the ships in this issue are from Star Trek Online. Yes, there are elements that scream FASA, but as a lifelong-fan of everything Trek I can assure you it's all STO, all the time. Can't help it if the game artists draw from great resources and sources while maintaining legal separation from previous IP holders ;)

I would also add it's not practical for the QA team to be answering every forum post.
