I like my Elachi S'ateth (pictured below). It's the closest you can get to a Star Destroyer outside of the Voth Bastion... and that ship's too curvy to be a decent facsimile (and has a tiny engine cluster to boot).
On PC it was, PS4 had the Vorgon escort, which I did unlock. Now, I didn't much mind that as I full accept that the consoles lag behind PC regularly... but come on! This is ridiculous! And I still think the Vorgon dreadnaught looks like a White Star in much the same way the Elachi dreadnaught looks like a Galactica…
Either way, I was holding hope to get the Vorgon Carrier instead of this thing. If this is the Risa event ship, then how the bloody hell are we supposed to get the Carrier?! It better damn well not be a future Phoenix prize!
I'd say typo. Though that doesn't excuse that it's a completely new ship from the Vorgon Carrier PC got last year! I wanted the carrier! Not some Babylon 5 White Knight reject design! There's not enough tables in the world to flip!
I've not seen how these Dominion EV suits look but I personally prefer the Sol EV suits. You can get 3 different versions of it for free and for three and 50 lobi each you can get two more variants. A Sol EV suit for every member of your away team! Though not sure if Dominion characters can do older content.
Spaceships. That's it, really. I want to make my Imperial Fleet and am pretty far into the process. Just need them to finally drop the Vorgon carrier on console and I'll finally have my Super Star Destroyer! Ooh, can't wait!
I have to agree with the moderator. In a game like an MMO new players having to jump through hurdles just to get at new content is bad enough, but when that content is supposed to be a unique starting area with it's own races and you're told that you can't make a character there because you aren't an endgame character in…
Some would say the same of cameras clipping into PC and NPC heads during cutscenes were also a cosmetic glitch, cause there's nothing game breaking about being able to see eyeballs and teeth during a calm conversation on New Romulus.
I feel your pain. As soon as I got to the first plot point my sense of morality was challenged... and by the third one I was wishing I could switch sides and help the Vaadwuar... even the major NPC was thinking like I was at the end. Guess war crimes can be added to the list of the Federation's 'accomplishments'.
The writing of the Delta arc makes me want to glass Kobali Prime. You're supposed to be in support of the Kobali... but in the process you learn that the Vaadwuar are wholly justified in attacking them and it makes me not want to do the arc cause I want to be right there killing the daft grave robbers! I hate the story…
I have as many as you can have for free (at present 5 on console) and while I did partake of the Temporal Agent promotion last year I haven't really done anything with them. My Agent is at the Delta arc... and I really hate the Delta arc...
I can think of one glaring detail that makes Romulans unappealing (and it's not Tovan... though yeah, it's Tovan). Romulan aliens are the most restricted alien template. I wanted to make my Kaminoan a Romulan but the best I could do was an uglier Romulan... had to instead make my Romulan mule a Zabrak and use my Kaminoan…
What's the point of a solar cycle... in space? The Sun, as we know it, only exists in the Solar System. If I'm on New Romulus then the solar cycle changes. If I'm on my ship in orbit around New Romulus then the solar cycle is meaningless. The ISS experiences sunrise dozens of times a day so clearly they don't bother…
There's a number of web sites that I've found that has color listings for proper arrangements and I think there's even a page for it buried in the PC version archive here. Either way, there's resources out there you can tap for inspiration if nothing else. Here's a link to get you started at the least.…
Hmm, can't say I've heard anyone complaining about not being able to get closer before. If you're looking for glamour shots you could try butting up to something like another ship or a space station. The camera doesn't like clipping so will get closer to you, but it's transitory so be fast with the capture button.…
While not a race in itself, I'd pay for nonstandard racial biology! Like a third arm, or a body that is largely "a vegetable with arms and legs" or heck, a space squid! While not something you saw alot in the movies or live action shows, it wasn't that uncommon on the animated series (thanks in no small part to the…
Actually, while the Spartans may have lost the battle their act of sacrifice cost the Persians greatly, hence why it's not really called a loss but a Pyrrhic Victory. This is not the same. The Iconians, for striking down Kahless, lost very little. The real damage was more in the black eye it gave the Iconian in charge…
He may have proven that a bat'leth is a viable weapon (though really not) but even the klingon that formed his honor guard knew when to withdraw. He totally earned his Darwin Award. That and if I recall he really should have minded his own anecdotes ("A man cannot stand against a storm and win" was it?).
Good news all around, hope it gains momentum. Won't change a thing here, though, as the only interface between real and virtual currency is in the purchase of zen which is used for more than just keys for lockboxes. Keys which themselves can be sold and traded for in-game credits outside of the purview of the zen market.
Well, I'd imagine the shoes thing stems from the Caitian's one (and as far as I know only) appearance in the TOS movies where they're shown in full uniform, boots included. Easier to just make head prosthesis than come up with correct looking legs, and it's probably a safe bet they just glossed over M'ress' details in the…
I wish I knew what all the lockouts were with the system. I have old Wide Arc Duals that I can't re-engineer for some reason or another. It's got Dmgx2, CrtH and Pen... and I really wish I could turn that one CrtH into Dmg...
Pay to win is defined as being able to obtain a numerical advantage over normal players with the expenditure of money. Such a thing doesn't exist here in the degree you think it does. Yes, you can make purchases that can ease your experience with the game but it's just as easy to do that without even touching a lockbox or…
No, this game skirts the issue by allowing zen to be traded for refined dilithium so that you can buy keys without having to pay anything. Further, keys can be sold on the Exchange allowing you to use credits to buy them. That and unlike most other systems, lockboxes drop lobi which can be used as yet another currency to…
If the only issue with them is clipping then I really don't see the issue. I don't care if something clips, so long as it looks good and works with the theme I'm trying for.
While I would love more options, especially for Aliens, I'd rather they fixed the scaling first. I can't tell you how bothered I am that my character's upper arms are longer than the lower arms. And if you make the arms longer, the upper arms seem to be the only part of the arms that does get longer. It's freaky!
Can't say this is something I can get behind. Not that I wouldn't mind retraining anytime I wanted, but this is a game that lives on it's microtransactions and retraining is something I'm sure alot of captains do when they find their latest 'build of the week' thus netting Cryptic a fair bit of money in the process. Not…
I didn't even know there was an AFK penalty till reading this thread... and it seems to be pretty polarizing with the community. Judging from what I've read the thread was started by someone joining a queue with the intent of playing support only to be hit with the penalty for not playing a DPS... I'd equate that to being…
