I'm rethinking what im doing, perhaps holodeck simulations would make more sense

So, I can use the USS Defiant and DS9 as long as I don't include Sisko, Kira, Dukat ect... (can I have other characters mention them and events they participated in)? That'll make it a whole lot easier. I might have to create my own version of AR-558 because that would be really difficult to do without the ds9 crew.

I suppose theres no harm in putting the map in the list. Being an interior of one the Enterprise ships, it's kind of an important map :)

I dont think they've been in any STO missions, but these maps would be great for the foundry. -NX-01 Bridge -NX-01 Engineering -NX-01 Crew deck (Basically, a complete NX-01 interior map)

I was just about to suggest this :) We would have to have different voices for FED, KDF and ROM. A klingon with a voice that sounds too human would just be odd.

It would be much simpler if you just had the option to change the allegiance of NPC groups. I'll give it a go

I dont think any of the major alpha/beta quandrant powers would be willing to trust the Borg as an ally, the Dominion however have proved that they honor there agreements (Bajor non aggression pact) Ive just got 3 more Q's before I start this... 1. Does the dialog in the mission have to be 100% original or can bits be used…

I was leaning more towards the Dominion, as they have a well known reason for wanting to try and take over the federation (revenge) --I would prefer if a high level moderator or atleast someone who understands copyright and the whole EULA thing to give me the go ahead. I'd hate to put in all the work for the episode and…

What i was expecting when STO was announced is exactly what im gonna get with Star Citizen. I'll give you 5 seconds before someone makes a star trek mod and puts it on a public server (modders may be able to host there own servers) and it becomes insanely popular :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Citizen

Guys, as far as im concerned, what JJ did to Star Trek can be easily fixed. Just write a story where the USS Relativity turns everything back to normal

I dont seem to be able to resume patching after closing the client or loosing the internet connection, is this even possible?

I suppose we'll just have to wait and see what happens, maybe we could all post questions for the next ask cryptic to show there is interest in this? BTW daedalus304, The PS3 costs 250GBP and the Xbox 360 (25gb) is 193GBP, most good gaming PC's Ive looked at cost 350GBP+

I suppose its more likely they would make a PS4 and Xbox-next gen version - those consoles will probably be released in the next year or two

I havent played CO on xbox but if it worked for CO then a console controller could work for STO

You could use the arrow keys to change power levels - like on Star Trek Encounters. You could use L1 L2 R1 R2 to access menu's which then access other menus Take the PS3 controller for example, Square could be used for phasers, Circle for torpedoes and Triangle for Fire all weapons

well maybe its something for them to consider after Legacy has been released, it might cause subscriptions to rise

Yeah, they could be somewhere like that Ocean planet in Voyager (i cant remember the episode) and in earths oceans aswell !!!
