  • That's what I thought but I did the episode ages ago :s
  • I guess I'll have to hope they address it in the future. Seems for certain the Feklhri will continue to play a bigger part with the way things are going. Would be great if it turned out L'Rel was actually an imposter and it was all orchestrated by the Feklhri.
  • A lot of people replying with theories. I'd be fine with any of these, just want to know if there's been an explanation along these lines in other canon, or if the writer's are just being unclear. It's fine to forgive the clumsy handling of the J'Ula U-turn, but without explanation making Klingon afterlife real is a bit…
  • I would have preferred them sticking to the "mystical vision quest" thing, but the feklhri following us back into space at the end sort of undoes that doesn't it? Feels like the writer's got confused between the real ones and mythological ones without thinking it through. > @"paradox#7391" said: > Mythological Fek'Irhi…
  • This happened to me both at commander and captain. There seems to be a problem with the game assigning and completing promotion missions to AOY characters. I didn't get a ship token when promoted to commander. Just assumed they'd removed it for AOY characters. Ended up spending 20000 dilithium on a new ship before going to…
  • Yep it's not very well balanced for leveling. Particularly noticeable as you approach level sixty because that's balanced for specialisation points as well although one you start getting them it returns to normal and can actually be easier than level fifty I find
  • I had this exact problem! I think there's a bug with it exploding too soon.
  • I agree that the part on the enemy ship was the weakest part it felt like a) getting to the bridge was way to easy but then b) the consoles were a bit tedious, 2 would have been better. On the plus side visually it was great and the enemy were well balanced, they were knocking out my boffs but I still managed to not die so…
  • I thought it was a good length and enjoyed the talking at the start although it was a bit low on plot I can see how it's setting up the wider storyline. The should have gone the full hog and killed Jmpok though. I was a little confused about how we're dealing with the Na Kuhl time travellers now when I thought we'd be…
  • They should have him in his mariachi band costume for celebrations like the anniversary
  • YES. Thank you so much! Sao Paulo was next on my list of ships to buy for quad cannons and now I can go straight to the tier 6 defiant! WIN-WIN. Had a quick blast with them last night, was fun shredding things and being able to use the cloak without it being a complete waste of a slot. Happy anniversary!
  • I love De Lancie and Q but would much rather see a couple more lower tier DS9 and TNG characters first! Now that like half the cast of Voyager have done it I'm sure Cryptic are trying to negotiate with other main cast members too.
  • I had this for ages when I started playing the game. Eventually after much digging I found a fix that generally stops rubber-banding (although it can still happen at peak times as you say). I only know for Windows: Once the game is running, press alt-tab to go back to your desktop and in the search program bar type "CMD"…
  • Although many would say it is more worthwhile to save up the EC to try and buy what you want from a lockbox rather than gambling on them.
  • Sounds like your ship only has an Ensign Tactical seat. Different ships come with different Bridge Officer Seating layouts. Regardless of their rank, Bridge Officers (or BOFFs) can only do skills up to the level of the station they're slotted in. So as you say, for the ship you're currently flying your engineer BOFF can do…
  • No thanks, she's only just gone. I'm fine having it as a dangling thread for a while. Then they can make T'Kets 'Wrath of Khan' when we've been through a few other new arcs. Also while we're talking about the problem of the queue's. I think that now there's so many they should put them all on a timer so they only have like…

  • I've never noticed a problem with the design but think it would be a cool place to have some sort of mini discoverable missions if they were looking at it again. They could start by moving the sidequests that used to be on Memory Alpha there and then add more stuff like that to make it feel like a living station with…
  • The plotting and overall arcs are good but the writing is often terrible and full of contradictions. There's also huge gaps in the story telling (especially in the iconian war although I'm aware a lot of those were papered over by the tales of war blogs which I didn't read). Also there's no sense of space and location in…
  • I mean there's just nothing fun or engaging about it at all is there? It doesn't even give the ships the name you gave them... and nothing happens when you complete the tasks, not even a little description of what happened. I also find it very confusing to use. There are little icons that aren't explained, and all the…
  • Ace cheers! Just out of interest is there any sort of canon order to play the new queues and the badlands in? I jumped straight in to Terok Nor the other day and wasn't really sure what was going on.
  • The real question is why does the supposedly female T'Ket have such a deep voice?
  • I'm still trying to fathom why she kept going on about completing our mission once we'd got to the past when she wasn't even at the briefing. I certainly wouldn't have told her the plan.
  • No because the last one made it not as good and I don't want it to get worse again.
  • The stuff the game doesn't really tell you which helped me a lot to up my game when I found out was as follows: Weapon types - make sure you only use one weapon type, then fill all of your tactical consoles with consoles which boost that damage. (In my opinion this is super broken as it makes ships with more tactical…
  • I much prefer having a continual stream of episodes. It's nice being able to login every couple of weeks for a bit to play some new content rather than just mindlessly grinding over a more condensed period of time. I can't really do the latter anymore. And the opportunity to get three spec points each time a new episode is…
  • "For example: some people really like the MACO set (known to Klingon faction characters as Adapted Klingon Honor Guard). However, the shield in that set has a bonus which is incompatible with one of the most popular universal consoles (in a way that causes BOTH of them to become non-functional), so obviously if you're…
  • That's a good set of updates. Really not sure about this though: "the Fleet Research Lab will grant access to additional Reputation Trait Slot and Starship Trait Slot unlocks." Very power creepy
  • Item Missing: Console - Assimilated Module Character and Handle: Rack@antzudan Extra info: The image still showed up in my ship loadout (greyed out) but it said it was equipped on a different ship. However it wasn't on any of my other ships or in my inventory/upgrade/overflow.
  • Are the Tal Shiar still specifically in league with the Iconians? (Now that Sela, and by extension the RSE is ostensibly not). They will hopefully be able to make this distinction over the war to clear things up a bit with Tal Shiar still remaining resolutely bad guys, the republic being good and the RSE being a middle…
  • You also don't need to buy tier 6 ships to get starship traits and once you have four of those slotted there's no difference between tier 6 and fleet 5U. You get one for each specialisation you get to 15 spec points. It's a shame you didn't come back during the delta recruit event as that got you a free trait too. But with…
