Im sorry but what "long term"? The game is already 4 years old and pvp has only gotten worse. Cryptic has established that there is no long term with them. There is only the current patch and maybe the next one. And the current situation is bad as it was a year ago, 2 years ago, 3 yeas ago etc. PVP used to be rly fun and…
Its beyond time actually. PVP is a HAMSTER cc fest. We are back to standing still, unable to move then dead regardless of IL. Meh, let pvp rest in peace
Ive gotten only one of those and I sold it by undercutting the price. Still got ~18 mil for it so imo the overall legendary mount prices are way too inflated. If you want to sell yours dont expect sth crazy like 30 mil.
Thats just it. In an equal environment, bis vs bis, the paladin is not that useful. A smoke spamming TR is more usefull, a push wizard is more useful, a dc is more useful, a gf is more useful..etc etc. PVP is usually cc heavy and the pal falls short with no immediate cc abilities and no cc resist (Heroism activates so…
Actually Ive had some awesome fun in PVP way back in the pre-tenacity gear days. When a GWF in full Avatar of War + Fomorian FAbled greatsword was a force to be reckoned with. We've come a long way since then but never really got anywhere.
Yes, you can pay to advance your character and that is true here as in pretty much every other game. That being said its completely up to every one of us just how the time spent in Neverwinter is, well, spent. If you get caught up in the endgame chase you will not enjoy the ride. Its that simple. I started Neverwinter way…
It is an additional hit. Its like another damaging encounter added to any 3 single target hits you perform. I havent done any particular testing but I have noticed some things during normal play. Relentless Avengers seems to spend all charges of SW because the pushing effect I think counts as a single hit and it applies…
Imo the design of the kabal mobs is very lazy. They just slapped together some aoe/cc explosions and called it a day. Every time I get to fight them its either close range aoe cc or ranged aoe cc. Oh, and when they die they do what? They release an aoe cc. Meh. With the current server lag my toon is like the ball in a ping…
If every class actually had viable roles in its different trees/path then sure loadouts woud be awesome. As things stand tho, most of us have 1 build. The loadout for me is barely worth it only as means to separate pve and pvp and only with a few feats/gear at that.
Being single target is not good for an OP in most situations imo so even tho I like Sacred Weapon I don't have a use for it most of the time. That being said if I want to feel powerful I slot CoP, SW, VOW on the protop and my at-will hits like a daily.
While I wholeheartedly agree that the power creep is currently extreme and it should be avoided as a general rule, removing something players have worked/paid for is never a good idea. And btw what is the OPs personal problem with bonding runes? If a person finds that his character's power level is too much for any and all…
I miss: - rolling for an awesome armor drop in a dungeon, winning it and selling it for what used to be a ton of AD - joining a meaningful pvp match with both parties being relevant - Profound plate armor - a thing of beauty lost in the dev's closet - gentlemancrush
Well I can you what my pal does in pvp. He moves about in all his immortal glory, protecting his party if the party is smart enough to go mid with him, throws some hits around mostly doing no damage if the opposing party is premade. And finally what my pal really does in pvp is be the last man standing in the usual pug vs…
Id like to think of my op as one with ''universal'' build as it can tank, do some dps and pvp as well. With loadouts I can diversify and hopefully increase its capability in each area. We'll see.
Well Id love to be able to run several enchants depending on what im doing but considering their price I just stick with Fey for my OP. Works for pve and pvp just fine
Inspect some of the monsters you meet in pvp. You will see a massive HP pool, high power, quite low conventional damage resistance ( they depend on the tenacity DR), average crit, very high armor pen, good deflect and life steal. That is the overall formula but some of the values differ based on class.
