Power rating:* Has no diminishing returns on Power rating to Damage/Healing conversion * Has a very poor Power rating to Damage/Healing conversion rate * Has diminishing returns on a Power rating to percentage actual damage/healing increase Critical Strike rating:* Has diminishing returns on Critical Strike rating to…
* Invigorated Healing heals one time, at the end of a 6 seconds; it does not heal at all until the end. * It appears as a buff in your bar, matching the Feat icon. * If you cast multiple spells that have the effect, each will apply an instance of the effect and a counter will appear in the buff bar icon. * Each instance of…
War Prophet is the PvP T1 set. The stats are not optimal for PvE (and probably PvP) due to the Life Steal, but you can grind out a 2-piece bonus for the Head and Armour slots, leaving the other two (Arms and Feet) open for Tier 1 pieces.
I'm aware of the diminishing returns, but I want the rating : percent ratio at a position on the Critical Strike rating DR curve that is more favourable to Power. If you have 3500 Critical Strike rating, please share the exact Critical Strike rating and the and the "Contributes to: Critical Chance" percentage.
Can someone with "high" Critical Strike rating post their rating and their "Contributes to: Critical Chance" percentage? I only have 2200 and would be looking for one of 3000 or higher? Thanks.
Combat logs separated by test case, relevant data points extracted using regular expressions, data loaded into a database, queries against the data. To answer his question on the exact numbers, I exported the averages to excel to do the percentage difference, since I had initially loaded the data into an MS Access…
Without Foresight: 100% damage (298 events) With Foresight (3 Power points): 92.2% damage (306 events) With Foresight (3 Power points) and Benefit of Foresight (5 Fear points): 86.0% damage (335 events) The average unreduced damage between tests is within 0.0036%
There is no such indicator, if you share foresight with those you heal, my recollection is that it does appear on their buff bar. Foresight does seem to provide the personal damage reduction based on limited testing. I don't have my dataset with me, but I believe it was around 300 events with and without where the enemy…
15% for level 31 imps on basic melee attacks. It is likely that this can be expanded to encompasses all creatures and attacks, but I haven't done testing.
Indeed, I used it when we had 2 clerics and I was doing the "damage". Hitting the enemy late enough that it died before the debuff expired but early enough that it was considered to be applied before death was hit-and-miss. I certainly hope I could get better at it with practice, it's just that relying on people to not…
Same feats different powers? Sounds like you're incorporating Prophecy. I'm really not a fan of the gap between its activation and when the death of the target can trigger Prophecy.
It's not that ability scores should not exceed 20. Some people consider Wisdom to not be the best, nor second best, attribute for the Cleric; of those people, some believe that it is likely that the game will be rebalanced to change the desirability of Wisdom. Individuals that fall into this category might choose to hedge…
The threat issue is two-fold:* Tank classes seem to lack the capability to generate significant threat against a large number of enemies. * The favoured mechanic for boss fights is to spawn new enemies repeatedly, enemies on which the tank will have zero threat and you will instantly generate threat by healing. You can't…
I've never wiped due to not waiting for someone, though you're right that it does increase the chance. And it gets to be extra challenging because we're doing it with 4 people, or even 3. If a person can't keep up to a group that is clearing trash one man down, they clearly aren't making much of an effort. I seriously…
I don't know about the defaults (admittedly, what most people use), but you can set up chat tabs to behave that way. I have the "spam" tab that includes everything, the "important" tab, that includes chat channels I actually care about and loot rolls, and the "social" tab that only includes chat channels I care about.
I know I've kicked several people from dungeon queue groups due to not doing anything. It's pretty helpful, but a 3/5 or 4/5 group vote would be fine too.
* It isn't a "coolness" factor, it's a "we have less than a 1 in 1,000 chance of meeting again" factor. This is a combined with a "we don't necessarily even have intersecting language sets" factor, remember that the game is not separated by country, region, or language. * Perfectly reasonable and not talking at all during…
I believe that you are upgrading the duration of the trap placed on the ground, not the duration of the chains once activated. Your assumption about the damage scaling matches the common assumption, but I'm not aware of any testing that has been done to validate the assumption.
That the dodge/shift ability for most classes breaks the animation isn't sufficient. If you have run out of stamina, it will not break the cast because it will fail to activate. If you don't have infinite stamina, it is silly that you must burn it to cancel an animation. We should be able to cancel the animation at any…
4e introduced the option of respecializing powers, feats, and skills at the rate of one per level, so your entire premise is incorrect. Prior to 4e, you could speak to your DM about the possibility. Unlike any D&D game, it is not actually possible to know the mechanics of powers and feats without first taking them and then…
You have a really boring definition of fun. I've never had as much fun as a healer as I am having now, since my job is to heal while kiting a ball of death. I expect DPS classes enjoy having more to do than just execute the optimal rotation for their class while using the optimal build for their class. Not that there is…
