Players are leaving or not playing much - I think this is the reason for the lower activity on the ZAX. Just look at the results of the poll in the "Are you happy with Neverwinter" thread in this forum area.

I've got to say it . . . Bots are flooding the game since they can no longer bot leadership using gateway. Bots have not been harmed, just redirected into the game. Casual players like myself took the hit. I haven't played the game at all in over a week.

This is actually a lot better than it used to be, when there was a 12 million AD backlog. I'll bet there a LOT less active players now, based on those much lower overall volumes. Players eventually leave when bugs are left unfixed for months on end and change implemented that anger players . . .

Interesting. I just checked out Forsaken World - looks an awful lot like NW - classes, races, occupations, pets, PvP, guilds, auction house, etc. Maybe we should all "forsake" NW and start playing FW? :)

Yep! Worst anti-botting measure I have ever seen used in my gaming history. It does nothing to reduce botting - bots will simply bot leadership IN THE GAME. No sweat for the bots, but negatively impacts legit players, like me. Be prepared for extreme lag in the game as the bots flood the instances. In-game GMs is a FAR…

In-game GMs work well, if implemented properly (with EXTENSIVE training on the GMs and regular meetings to discuss issues).

As I stated before, it does not work for my current situation, which is not likely to change anytime soon. I can't "adapt" because I have little or no time to run professions on my PC at home. I choose FOLD! Time to move on, I guess. :(

In-game GMs DO work. Runescape has used them for many years. This is probably one of the best games on the planet for addressing bot control. It took me about 300 or so tries to get it. I have seen some people report needing 600 tries to get it. If you want it, plan to spend a LONG time running the epic dungeons in TotSC. :)

Indeed. It works pretty well in most areas, but it is pretty worthless in IWD and WoD - personal experience. :)

FYI, it took me about 350 runs to get the Lightfoot Thief companion. And sometimes I noticed the companion gear drops were worse at some times than others.
