  • ATTENTION PWE/CRYPTIC MANAGEMENT: If you remove Leadership from the gateway, I am done. And I PROMISE to take as many other players with me that I can. Some people have NO CLUE how to run a successful gaming company. Wake the hell up! Botters are going to bot, just like PC virus makers are going to keep making PC viruses.…
  • "Glory days well they'll pass you by Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye Glory days, glory days" In remembrance of the days before Mod 6 . . . :)
  • Sigh . . .
  • Indeed. It works pretty well in most areas, but it is pretty worthless in IWD and WoD - personal experience. :)
  • FYI, it took me about 350 runs to get the Lightfoot Thief companion. And sometimes I noticed the companion gear drops were worse at some times than others. But one way to increase the odds is to open all chests you encounter. There were a few times I got a companion gear item from a chest and at the boss battle at the end…

  • My thoughts exactly. . . Sigh . . .
  • Wasn't familiar with those - sounds nice!
  • Sigh. This was a simple THANK YOU for something that benefited MY playing style. Nothing more, nothing less. All I can saw is "Wow!"
  • I respect your good attitude for sure and agree with much of what you said. Player-specific housing would have been so very cool, and a great AD dump. Can you imagine designing your own castle? Designing your own dungeon underneath your castle? Building a battle ring in your castle for free-for-all PvP action among your…
  • "the coupon even go in your overload bag." Wrong - they only go into "overload" if your inventory is full - and a full inventory DISALLOWS invoking in the first place. The coupons and bags I was getting from invoking were filling what little bag space I have left across all of my characters. "people complaining about free…
  • When you are a casual player, not a whale, and have limited inventory space (like me and some other players), this IS a good thing. I was offering MY thanks because of MY play style. You were not asked to agree with my opinions. You can simply say something along the lines of, "I actually liked the coupons" like Misfits…
  • What you say is true about strongholds, but this update does appear to put solo players (those not interested in guilds) at a disadvantage as these types of players will not have access to several of the "stronghold only" things mentioned in this thread. This is the main part of strongholds that I do not like. Player-based…
  • I don't think these forums are that bad. No, they are not as user-friendly as the prior version, but they still serve the primary purpose of the forums: communication. Now, let's get back to fixing long-term bugs and glitches in the game. :)
  • Yes, this has been suggested so MANY times for over a year on these forums. It is a great idea and should be pretty easy to implement. Word is that this is already an option on other Cryptic games, so . . .
  • Nice! It's the graphics and D&D environment that drew me to this game in the first place during the beta days . . .
  • I agree with bioshrike, for what it's worth, but it does depend on your current gear, level, etc. Lots of variable involved. And I actually did upgrade my Ioun Stone to legendary, so I know what I am talking about . . . I think . . . :)
  • First, I am not an Oathbound Paladin. . . :) Second, "I'm sorry I had to fight in the middle of your Black Panther party . . ." In other words, it is not petty if it affects someone's in-game experience, but you are entitled to your own misguided opinion . . . :P
  • I really did see it start 10 minutes late once . . . But I'd never start it early under any circumstances as there is likely a player or two that is hurrying to finish something and then "bam!" When in doubt, start a minute or two late would be my mantra. :)
  • I thought those were squashed with some past update, as one-person guilds were not "legal" guilds. . .
  • This statement really defines what has begun to frustrate me about this game. The game has become less casual-friendly and alt-friendly and looks to be possibly less solo-friendly with the next mod. In other words, this game is going in a completely opposite direction from my tastes and interests. We'll see how this whole…
  • Ah cool. I played RS from 2006 to 2012, but gave it up after that. Did not like the combat changes that kept coming. It is the simplicity of combat that originally attracted me to the game - was more like pencil-and-paper D&D. Had most skills at 99 except for 4 of them. Gave away my 120 million gold to my guild. :)
  • My ever-dwindling set of "primary" characters are all still in the best blue gear I can get (except for some crafted rings and necklaces). Some of us casual players don't have the time to grind high-end dungeons just to get the purple gear. Would be nice if they made it BoE - those who had the time to grind could earn AD…
  • It's easy to say this is not a big issue when you have lots of time to dedicate to the game. Due to my busy life, every second counts for me. I get maybe an hour a day (if that) to play. Working professions and invoking with 25 toons means that this process DOES get annoying. It may not annoy some of you but it does annoy…
  • It seems like since the game can "detect" your PC components/performance (especially video performance) there might be some way to program something to assist with this . . . But this is really a minor issue compared to the plethora of bugs and glitches that have lived for months on end . . .
  • The bags are definitely the biggest issue as they do not stack, but coupons are still annoying, even more so for those of us who do not play for hours at a time. This single issue is not driving me away from this game. It is the multitude of implemented changes in recent months that are building my dislike for a game I…
  • Amen to that! When mobs hit you for half your health, a healer companion is pretty useless.
  • Yes, I attended college at an SEC school and have been an avid college football fan since about 1983. I always pull for all SEC teams when it comes to bowl games, so I am not the typical "I hate (insert conference rival)" type of football fan. My team is on the mend right now, but I have a feeling either this year or the…
