Yup, I can get to the account server, my toons display, although it pretty slowly (that cute lil "working" circle LOL) I select one and it gets nearly to the end of the loading screen then disconnects. Rather frustrating in the last days of a major Mount/Guild token collection event.
I was in workshop...hardly a crowd, but I've no idea how much Database useage is required....connect to server, but when entering game again,,,disconnect. This is now happening with all my toons.
I loved your Ancient Gamer before windows tag...my gaming started before the home PC as well. Foundry was my way of returning to the basement with a few six packs of beer, 4 or 5 good friends and a cup full of dice.
The Foundry is the reason I started playing this game. It seems development/management is pushing the game in the direction of being a WoW clone...which is just a shame and a waste.
Wow, I was only looking for information about WHY the Foundry has been apparently DISABLED and found all of this. Which leads me to believe the foundry was disabled because nobody in a position to act on any of the ideas brought up here did act on same. Personally, I believe the reason the foundry is disabled is simple…
As an old, hardcore PnPer (lots of entire weekends spent praying for crit rolls) I can appreciate the homage. I had not noticed any more complaints from the unwashed (ah, see previous lost weekend comment, guilty as charged, but I got over it.) than usual, but then I've become fairly good at mentally filtering out that…
Very interesting. I'm now getting "an error occured while transferring this character to the destination map." when using the Enter World Button. Safe Login button on the popup results in Server not found message.
There already was a small fix to leadership rewards. It appears that the rewards were tweaked so that they are at the very least escalating rewards now, although the amount of time spent to progress ratio is not really in line with the other crafts. This made sense when AD was a reward, but you can earn everything rewarded…
This is what I like to see. The list of bugs, shortened, including at least one that personally bothered the heck out of me, completionist that I am. Drove me crazy that I could not get 100% in Sharandar.
I will not spell out the entire campaign, it spanned at the vary least, an entire year of weekends, fairly early morning to late night play. Our DM was an incredible storyteller and gave us NPCs that took life. One of them was Tab Goldthait, a high level bard that frequently lead our party into the most interesting and…
Pretty simple answer here, I would go to the dungeon entrance and WALK in, SOLO. Not click "k" and join the queue and wait for a group, just walk in and run the dungeon. And yes, I frequently died multiple time before getting through. I might have to take several cracks at it, after leveling or upgrading equipment, but…
I'm glad to see ANY Fixes at all, but could we please raise the priority of opening some of the old dungeons back up? The guild stuff and PVP doesn't cut it for me, I'm a 95% solo player and the 5% is simply because you are FORCING it on me.
Dyed in the wool crafter, solo player, in tiny guild level 1, NO buildings. This content will only make me angry and frustrated. Used to spend money, but that was when I was HAPPY with how the game was going. I had 12 alts, all maxed leadership. Hours and hours and big bucks spent. One "fix" and those alts all have an all…
When are you going to do something to fix Leadership rewards? I spent alot of real cash to beef up this profession on ALL of my toons(YES, because of the AD) and now it is a nearly useless skill. Many of the nerfed rewards actually work out to have less value than the lower tier skills, taking more time to complete and…
I find it unlikely that developers are actually calling the shots on where their work hours are being wasted, er, eh spent. This appears to be the work of Perfect World bean counters, teamed with upper management folks that likely have never played ANY game, let alone this one. Their idea of fun is doing tax returns or…
And there are enough naive people willing to do business with them to keep them operating? Hard to believe. I guess it is true, There's one born every minute.
I noticed this as well. Ctrl -i will fire the animation without triggering the actual invoke more often than not, particularly upon first use of the day. I often must ctrl-i four or five times to actually invoke. I have taken to just hitting alt and using the mouse, it seems to be much more dependable.
