The people claiming this will drive prices down don't know mmo economy very well. Something else will take the keys place or the prices for other commodities will increase. That is how most player driven economies in mmos work. This will only hurt the economy and players in the long run.
Along with the running and stance animations, the eldritch blast doesn't seem to have the right color, that bright green color doesn't say dark crackling bolt of eldritch energy to me.
Why am I not surprised that they are having problems with this promotion. You would think they would have tested this before they tried to bribe people to purchase Zen for the game.
Already? It's had the same lifespan as 3e/3.5e. 3e was released in 2000 and was replaced by 3.5 in 2003, 4e was released in 2008, and we don't have a date for DnDnext. Edition wars are funny, people like to distort the truth. Each edition has been DnD, they each have been a different version of the same game.
Targeting the IP doesn't work as well as it once did, there are many ways to gain a new IP or to spoof it. To the topic, the only way to improve the system is to remove the 24 hr chat ban, it is too easy to abuse, and has been abused countless times. It is clear that there are players with in the community who are not…
Star Wars the Old republic Guild Wars 2 Rift Defiance Tera CO STO Aion DDO The Secret World Age of Conan DC universe and many other 'major' mmos all had wipes after open beta and had open betas that lasted more then a week, just saying.
This has been said about every edition from 1st to 4th. There are fans for every edition, and each edition brings its own flavor to DnD. DDN will be no different, some people will like it, and some won't. Just because you don't like 4e doesn't make it any less DnD. The core of DnD is still there, once you get past your own…
That's because most of the surveys want you to be a smoker, heavy drinker, or have some other defect so they can use the answers to fuel their political agendas.
Then don't ever enter the network security industry, you should always be leary of unfamiliar websites and their banner ads, there are some nasty programs out there that people can put on your machine if you are not careful. Also your idea of free and my idea of free are very different concepts.
Actually Lotr and DDO did fail with the sub based model, they were losing money prior to switching just as Cryptic was with CO/STO, that is why they went f2p. For those two games it worked, CO and STO you say record record profits, do you have some kind of proof of this? If they had some kind of record sales Atari likely…
You clearly don't know much about business. If one method is proving successful and profitable a business is less likely to change. As for communication you can believe what you want, but if you think what we have here is acceptable, then your expectations are low. These games have been barely surviving, the lack of…
The communication over on the CO and STO boards isn't any better, and this isn't some new development. There has always been a lack of communication, and the only common factor is Cryptic because Atari is no longer around to be the scape goat, and while Perfect world is far from 'perfect' and I am sure they have some part…
