Technically, the EV suit actually does activate automatically on this mission. It just activates after you're dead, then deactivates when you respawn.

Same. We know from the tutorial that the style would work well for an interior, and it even has areas that could be adapted to expand it. Like that nice little Shuttlebay you start in, it would be nice if the interior had a few of those (1-3, depending on the size you pick).

They don't make more realistic stories, they make darker ones. Darker and realistic are not the same thing. The idea of Idealism vs Reality, where realism and optimism are considered mutually exclusive concepts, is just as juvenile as grimdark-lovers often accuse optimists of being.

Not sure how I feel about Star Trek Picard being added to Online, from what I've seen so far. Primarily the stuff with the mass-produced Data's apparently rebelling against the Federation, kinda makes me concerned what the new show is going to do to the Federation.

Section 31 don't strictly need any traditional career paths. Any time they need skills outside of intel gathering and espionage, they would usually just manipulate some Starfleet/Federation patsy like Bashir to unknowingly do the grunt work for them. Probably either an oversight or it doesn't apply to small craft and the tooltips simply don't mention that. It wouldn't be the first time they've had misleading tooltips.

Why would they call it a Veteran Destroyer? They don't do that for any other faction, all veteran ships are either Heavy Destroyer or Warbird Destroyer.

Honestly, that argument doesn't really mean that much when you consider the episode Parallels showed that there's at least 285,000 alternate timelines containing its own version of the Federation.
