Eh.. Yeah, I played the PC version, Desktop PC died.. Laptop is crappy.. Console is the best option for me, but.. I'm spending no money on it because nothing will carry over between platforms.. o.o;
It's not a separate argument.. I don't even think it's about min/maxing.. I think it's a system that preys on obsessive Star Trek fans with tons of disposable income to spend on glorified fluff.. I'm outside that demographic.. I need more reasons to find the content worth purchasing and I've just been given less.. This…
I don't need a dose of reality, I'm aware of all that.. It just gets annoying to see people repeatedly called selfish for wanting something that would actually give me a reason to go off and buy overly expensive packs..(Which I still probably wouldn't get much actual use out of btw).. o.o; I think after you play the game…
Obviously using those $150 packs is preferential treatment.. They don't want you to have an unfair advantage in this single player oriented mmo! It's not like they would have any other reason to encourage you to double dip..
I don't know what you expect from this game. It's a big cash grab, they sell $150 packs every expansion and constantly throw boxes at you that can be opened with real money.. o.o; I'm a LTS and for at least 2 years, the game wouldn't even start up on my computer because of a glitch.. I'd rather play on PS4 but spending…
Well for one thing Abrams loves Star Wars so much that he was afraid to even touch it at first.. Star Trek he had no previous interest in, and decided to recreate it into something he enjoyed more.. For another.. the Star Wars prequels were soooo horrible.. It's actually a giant relief to have Abrams on them.. He's shown…
Rahko@Dwapook Rank 20 What lead you to become stuck?: I'm actually stuck on the klingon tutorial mission.. My character was on it before the Klingon revamp, back when they were starting at a higher level..
Now please let us play as them and allow us to forget this admiral business ever happened! In ten days we'll all be able to reach the point where we're one step down from president.. Sooo do not want to be stuck down that career path..
Since day one this game has constantly been breaking my immersion.. I keep coming back because I believe in this games potential.. It's kind of been like the games been saying.. "Hey! Here, bask in this universe you love!! ...SIKE! Most of us don't even watch Star Trek!" (Though that one was more like back during release)…
I'm not really so sure about that.. Cryptic has to get it all approved by CBS whom probably have a broader understanding of all the individual rights divided between the authors, publishers, and themselves.. No idea what kind of hoops they have to go through to use any of that stuff and can't really assume the same…
Eh.. During the livestream, it was confirmed that the Tuvok mission will still be in game after the anniversary, and that it will still reward the ship equips and EV suits..
Not with.. I prefer a system where equips are our toys and not our mandates.. You already grinded out all the reputation systems? Completed all the story missions for three factions? That's a huge investment in time and there's more to life than this game..
That would be pretty awesome! I've already been pretending one of my BOFF's is captain, though it'd be nice if Cryptic would revisit the idea of making them playable and not confined to ships.. I kind of like having him tag along..
Uhm! When was Crusher a blue uniformed Captain? Every captain uniform post TOS/Movies has been red that I recall.. Must've missed it somewhere? I also hadn't realized the career colors had significance on grouping!! Eh.. I guess the uniform color thing must be more of a personal bias on my part.. Would rather rescind that…
If everyone's picking the same set of abilities in this proposed system then that's a game design flaw to be fixed with balance changes... If there's power discrepancies that huge they should be fixed... This isn't a revolutionary idea, plenty of games pull it off.. Blizzard moved the MMO genre in a really bad direction..…
Eh.. For me the core problem is something completely different.. Playing a Science captain takes a lot of the fun out of the game for me due to how much it breaks lore and immersion.. Not because of the gameplay.. The whole class structure makes no sense for a captain! Just take a look at how the structure actually works…
Hard numbers taken from your personal experience help tailor your point of view, you don't represent every playstyle.. You're consciousness isn't some magical thing that encompasses the reality of other people's experiences. It could prove an accurate assessment of general gameplay experiance, but just to assume such seems…
