My only problem with this game so far is they their really isnt any true end game content. When i do my rep grinding for my marks and i finally finish my set pieces and my ship is now decked out.....I have nothing to do.
I do not need to run any more STF's cause I have my marks. PVP ques are a bit slow and not really into it either.
Alts are made. I want content where I need to get my purple set peices or my fleet gear to be able to face harder content for maybe even better rewards above what the fleet may offer etc etc.
Anyone else with me? Anything at all in the works here?
No because the difference between the top end and the average is too high. Anything hard enough to pose a challenge is going to be unbeatable for a large portion of the playerbase. When you have single ships doing three times as much damage as an entire pug group you can't balance the content for everyone and there are more people at 3k dps than 50k dps.
An average pug contributes less to a fight than an afk carrier with its pets out. How do you make challenging content that said pug won't whine about.
I played the new FE on Elite mode and that last battle with the 3 battleships and then 2 dreads was actually hairy at moments. The ship they give you isnt exactly boffed well or kitted right, so its actually tough to do.
Even the ground bits (the battle with the voth waves early) was pretty tough on "solo" mode without the help stuff.
Got it done, but it was by no means an easy thing.

Not with.. I prefer a system where equips are our toys and not our mandates..
You already grinded out all the reputation systems? Completed all the story missions for three factions? That's a huge investment in time and there's more to life than this game..
You are technically correct. The best kind of correct.
But provided that OP is actually seriously asking this question rather than concern trolling, it's been stated that they're working on Undine-related stuff currently, including a complete overhaul of Terradome.
And considering the anniversary episode's big reveal, I'm willing to gamble on the 2 STFs in the works involve the Undine.
I'm guessing there will be an Undine-related rep system to go along with these 3 Undine STFs (provided that the overhaul of Terradome will count as the 'third' STF).
As others have hinted the big issue is what qualifies as 'End game'. If it was a 'raid' mission then nobody will do it unless it gives great gear rewards but therein lies the problem. Once you get those rewards and the raid becomes easier you want more of a challenge and so the content introduced as end game is no longer satisfactory for you so you want more.
The cycle will never end, unless a mission is introduced such as an Extra hard STF with several Borg unimatrixes spewing out tens of tractor probes per second along with a similar number of repair probes, while simultaneously repairing themselves for 250k per second and lancing everything within 20km as a Beam fire at will every second. Once things become ridiculously overpowered for little return other than prestige people will not do it and instead want content more readily completable leading to starting the cycle again.
Challenge is something which is player driven and can be set easily by using lower tier ships in order to handicap Boff abilities and maximum firepower etc, while setting difficulty to Advanced or higher to boost enemy strength. When you can solo a Borg or Tholian red alert in a (non-scaling) Tier 1 ship consider yourself suitably challenged.
Mate i couldnt agree more with your original post here. Power creep has reached insane levels, and while Cryptic offer us more and more ships and gear in wonderful and destructive varieties, they do nothing to address the fact that its all overkill.
Give us something to truly test and run out our max geared characters and ships cryptic.

He is not asking to change the whole game dude. He is simply saying, this game has no end game PVE content like other MMO's usually do.
Eg. a 'Raid' style set of encounters, maybe progression between several boss ships. This game would be amazing if it had some truly hard content.

We have endgame content. Plenty of it.

If people weren't creatures of habit, there would be a fair few less people playing.
