IIRC they're implied the ships get decomissioned because heavy damage taken in front line "flagship grade" service. leads to their receiving new stuff.

to me this is very much a "do it once never do it again" mission. Session play as a terran is much more entertaining in red shift. and once you get the costume unlock, the rewards are a MK XI set of armor, purple quality sure but underwhelming. The one thing, costmeticly, I'd like to see added, are Jem Hadar and Romulan base aestetics.

On the note of suggestions for fleet bases, right now the holodeck on the fleet starbase feels like somewhat wasted space. Maybe allow fleets to have target dummies appper on the base so that fleet members can practice a ground DPS. I'd give a feeling that the holodeck is USEFUL for something at least

especially as everyone just plays the borg one. which is indicative of two problems. 1: one a play level imbalance. 2: the borg really need some tweeks because right now they suffer from an insane state of villian decay. IMHO they're damn near perfect on the ground, but in space need some tweeks.

The details and specifics of their lisence is proably differant. lisencing is a pretty complex issue.

apparently yes, it's absolutely rediculas that ships designed by STO artists, approperate to the era are in lock boxes

Anni ship will proably be another Alliance ship. So far we've got a battle cruiser, a raider, a carrier, a good bet for the 13th anni is an alliance science ship

That's how I'd do it. the problem with the old Klingon War arc stuff is if they just brought it back they'd have to do new KDF or Romulan stuff to make up for starfleet having so much more content, so yeah best way to do it would be completely revampthe story arc, and make it one that sees some time travel to the SNW era
